Having watched todays game between Chelsea and City, and seeing our grip on 4th slip a little further i wondered who do i want to finish 4th if it isn't us.
I think i'd rather city finished 4th, but i suppose anyone but Liverpool would be my preferred option.

Villa, and I really think they've got a chance. Stronger squad than last year and a fairly kind run-in.

But also rather City than Liverpool.

But I must add that this defeatist attitude is unnecessary. We'll do it

Hmmm - i don't really like o'neill or his long ball philosophy but rather him than rafa.
I'd be interested to see what the other teams forums though about a poll like this for their teams.
Anyone know the major forums for the teams mentioned above? i might see if they would want to set up a similar poll - give a real perspective on how teams are percieved outside of their own little worlds.

City, as they'll buy their way into it anyway. Nothing we can do about that.

It keeps Liverpool who have financial troubles of their own out of it, and also Everton and Villa out too, as we don't need them strengthening with the extra revenue the CL brings.

Everton. Big fan of Moyes. Not a fan of "Mediocre Martin" or Rafa the ****

City will attract all sorts of big names if they get CL. So Everton for me.

City getting 4th would be a disaster. They already have the money, CL football adds legitamacy.

Liverpool would be boring, same again.

Everton or Villa, don't mind. Villa is far more likely.

I have mates that support Evertin, Villa and Liverpool and have a constant stream of anti-spurs abuse at me

On balance, I think Everton or Villa... don't want those other scouse ****s or rich ****s to get it!

If City get it, that's the new monopoly right there. They will be able to attract a higher calibre of player, they really would be the new Chelsea.

Liverpool please. Even if they get it, they will struggle again next season. If City get it, seriously, we will not get a look in at all going forward.

Hadn't thought of it this way, but definitely sounds reasonable. Liverpool do look like an opponent we could outcompete. I suppose the problem then becomes that the top 4 has simply become stronger. Maybe this year is our one big chance till something as drastic as Liverpool's civil war and abysmal recruitment policy happens again.

Matter of time till City get it anyway. If they want the big names in the summer, they will get them, money being no object. Mancini is a bigger draw than Hughes too.

For me it is Everton, but seeing how much catch they have to do, I would be so much more dissapointed if it was them.

Win tonight, and we are back into 4th, yes city had a good result, means nothing if we beat them when we play. COYS
