Dear, dear, Marty...I agree with you, it was a parody take on folk who can't spell tonight - I would neg rep you for having had a humour bypass, but I'm in a good mood, today, so I won't ;)

I knew what was going on, don't you worry. My sense of humour has not been surgically removed (yet) :)

Isn't it just part of the evolution of language though? The English language has changed almost beyond recognition from Ye Olde varieties, local dialects have different words and spellings, etc... To me this is just street/ youth/ slang talk. It's a departure from the dictionary spelling, but it's a result of the digital age of communication where everyone shortens words for speedy typing. Those of us old enough to remember having to write letters will find it irritating but for the younger generation it's just part of the culture.

Yeah, but it went from being caveman jubberish, in an upward, evolutionary trajectory, to a higher, more exprressive form - and now it is returning to incomprehensible caveman jibberish ;)

You should go to deepest, darkest East Anglia. They haven't moved on from caveman jibberish yet!

I lived in Welsh speaking Wales for the best part of 13 years, mate ;)

Disclaimer: no offence intended to the Cymru, out there :)
