We've just beaten AC Milan on their own patch! Now to do the same to Blackpool! I just wanted to put those two teams in the same sentence. COYS!

I'm not an expert in grammar but isn't that 2 sentences?

Fantastic performance by all 14 players, coaching staff and fans.

long balls, heading, and strength training are bread and butter for english defenders so its not so easy in the prem. coupled with lack of pace it makes him quite average in the league:cry:

Internationally though peter crouch is world class

International defenders are hilarious against him. I think they become mesmerised with his giraffe like legs and before they know it he has the ball! He even did well keeping up with Lennon for the goal!

Blackburn, Bolton, Sunderland, Milan. Who honestly thought we'd win all of them? Buzzing.

Tonight was beautiful. Slight underdogs bossed first half against a Milan team that showed up to win easily. At half time they realised it would not be so easy. Reorganised, knuckled down. But we stood firm. They resorted to agression, physicality and battling. When they repeatedly oversteped the mark the officials (mostly) allowed them to get away with it. The tenision mounted, they crowed got riled. We stood firm. Then we mugged the f***ers!
Like I said, beautiful. Its hard to pick out players. But, that was the first I've seen of Pienaar in a Spurs shirt. And he is a really effective player. Sandro was immense. I'm pinching myself to stop me imagining how big a player he could be for us. Dawson and Gallas massive. Fantastic to see Woody back. We won the game without Bale and VDV on the pitch. Lennon electric when it mattered. And Benoit won over Souness when I thought it was a pretty standard performance from him. He obviously hasnt watched him much. And Gomes....flawless.

Wasn't slight underdogs we were massive underdogs but we bossed them from the start, I will still wonder it would be like with Bale on the left but absolute amazing.........

So happy

Enjoy tonight lads. Most fans will never experience some of the highs we have this year especially in Champions League so these are the type of nights we'll be reliving for years & will be tellin down the pub for decades 'do you remember when that hairy little chimpanze headbutted Jordan'

So lads enjoy it & go to bed happy. These are the type of nights we've waited a long time for

I think Milan would have been more cautious about us on the break had Bale been in the side. From what I can remember they left Lennon 1 on 1 in the first half, but not in the second.

Great quote from Guardian website, sums up the AC Milan fuckwits:

You often hear people saying they don't particularly like The Premiership because the style of football is supposedly overly physical and often downright dirty.
Well tonight, I thought the apparently cultured A.C. Milan made the likes of Stoke, Blackburn and Birmingham look like a Girl Guides u-7s team

I've never experienced such happiness from football than I have for the last year or so. I'm actually in love with spurs.

Even if they did make me nearly pee myself because I wouldn't leave the tv until the game was finished!
