The way people are making him out it’s amazing that none of the top clubs have come in for him. I mean a big fast player who’s only 25 who always beats him man who can pick out a pass and lay it on a plate for his team mates sounds ideal. All the big clubs should be clamouring for him shouldn’t they? Maybe they will after this season if he carries on but my money woukd be on Traore not improving in the areas he needs to improve on. If we sign him I hope he does obviously.
Did this the other day, but to repeat:

City: Signed Grealish for £100m and have several other players like this in the team.
Utd: Signed Sancho and Ronaldo.
Liverpool: Don't see to be interested in signing players this window, but also have good options in this area.
Chelsea: Signed Lukaku for £100m and not in need of this type of player.

After that we're next in line and currently in need of a player like this.

You could also say the same thing above about Kane. Only City were interested in signing him and even they didn't value him properly.

While spend all day chasing this CPFC are landing Edouard for less than £20m apparently
Theses a reason he’s that cheap - hasn’t developed as expected, and fans are complaining he’s looking sluggish and disinterested.

But we’re not any of those clubs. In fact, we’re nothing like those clubs financially so I’m not sure what you point is?

I am unaware any big clubs coming in for Traore and I’d imagine that’s because they don’t value Traore as much as Wolves do. I’m not even aware of any clubs sounding Wolves out for him. Maybe they will next year with 1 year left on his deal.

I don’t understand how he’s a plan B to a striker if he can’t finish.

We need a flippin striker.

If Kane is 50m the whole world will be after him

Nobody else is interested in baby oil at 40m

I'd agree with that - we need him a lot more than any other top club in EPL.

The article one of the aggregators posted was from mid-August so not sure where this is from.

He looked awful in the Old Firm at the weekend and missed an absolute sitter in awful fashion. He’s been rumoured to be leaving for a long while now though, so to a degree his form has possibly eroded away due to longevity of uncertainty and Celtics general malaise last year

Dont understand this either

Someone like Chris Woods will do a decent job as back up striker..instead we are relying on a 17 yr old
Someone like *checks notes* a premier league club’s main starting international striker will do a job as our back up striker. ?

Both have poor technique and take too many touches of the ball. Both can't shoot and both rely on their physical attributes to progress the ball and not their passing.
I wouldn’t say he has poor technique - and whilst they both rely on their physical attributes, one actually progresses the ball. Something NONE of our team can really do save for Tanguy.
