We don’t even know if £40m is the price. Should we just pay whatever they’re asking even if it’s more than £50m? What’s the cut off point? £60m? £70mil? Etc etc

well no, but the price being banded around is £40m.... if it is £60/£70m then of course, no we shouldnt pay it. im saying in relation to those 2 deals guntz mentioned it's cheap.

Awful source. Just passes off other reliable journos information as his own or makes things up.
You're most probably right mate I have no idea of his reliability, just feel like with Sanches going to wolves, it does infact make it a possibility I guess and wouldn't surprise me if we went in for him with all the links and all too

Neves to United, de Beek goes walkies somewhere.

That's how I see it going down.

Then again, I woke up on Sunday and thought it was Tuesday, so every indication that I know the square root of feck all.

On his end product by the way after watching the Wolves United game on Sunday I saw two of his end products provided teammates with golden opportunities to take the lead and win the match, if he'd done that in our side I know for a fact it wouldn't be him I'd be complaining about.

Neves would be perfect for the CM role though considering he is more of a DLP so can interchange with PEH and Skipp and also provide the creativity that we are looking for.

During negotiations I hope Paratici reminds them that we handed over real life money for Doherty.

WLB From ITK thread

"We are still working on traore it’s not dead but difficult it’s down to us to meet there high price ! Is he worth it ? "
He is also now saying that yesterday was not hopeful but today there's new optimism so it seems the parrot must have moved.

I don't really rate Traore and was disappointed when i read of our interest.

Having thought about it a bit I think his stats will generally improve due, if nothing else, to the finishing ability of Kane and Son.

Also if we see repeats of last season when we are defensively trying to hold out, having him as a potential out and progressing the ball from midway in our half to midway in theirs, even if he loses the ball and the battle then drops back a bit to the halfway line, just that could be of huge benefit for us and the difference between having or losing an extra 6 points or so over a season.

Throw in some hopeful improvement in his actual play and finishing and 40mil, even with add ons making 50mil, could be good if not actual "great" business.

Also the general buzz around the place of some serious late transfer business and I'm now in the "yes" camp.
