Yeah, it’s not like they won’t let Rabiot go unless they replace him, he’s training with the youth team by all accounts. I don’t think these two transfers are related, I think it’s just basically down to him and if he’s willing to join us. He’s leaving it late, or rather, we are letting him do so.

Strange that Liverpool haven't gone for him yet. Papers reporting they're after Sandro Tonali from Brescia who is rated at 30m. I don't believe what is being reported re he wants Liverpool. My pov is the Rabiot deal is done for us but waiting on PSG to sign Idrissa Gaeye before they sign off on transfer. Maybe I'm wishing a little lol.

I'm in complete agreement with you. I really want us to get a DoF to be honest. A good one of course, but someone who could give some structure to our dealings because to me we look a complete fucking mess in the market.

Selling Rabiot isn’t dependant on anything at PSGs end, he’s not part of their squad anymore. They don’t depend on him and would rather sell him now than lose him for nothing.
