I fail to see where we are going, it's painful to watch such a pathetic embarrassing set up.

We have absolutely know idea and show no signs of a team thats going to sort things out.

BAE- dreadful, how he is selected and on what basis, week in and week out, is beyond me.

Dawson- just shit

O'Hara- So one footed it's untrue, can only turn and play in one direction

Corluka- Right back my arse.

Ramos- Lennon on the left? Dos Santos on the right? The man has lost the plot.

There is light at the end of the tunnel and no sign of any.

By the time January arrives it could well be far too late.

Fuck i've had enough, lock the thread, tell me it's another knee jerk reaction, tell me players need to bed in etc etc. I'll tell you they are all piss poor excuses for what we're seeing at the moment.

It's a fucking shambles right throughout the team. I have know idea what the answer is and thankfully i don't have to come up with one. The board what fucking for undermining Jol who was fired for a lot lot less of a shit set up than we are getting now.

I thought Corluka played well up until the 2nd goal when we were trying to force it and got caught.

Lennon has been very good on the left recently and if you remember he set up a goal from there.

Agree with the rest though. Bentley is fucking woeful as well, he deserves a mention.

I dont think its a knee jerk reaction at all. Ive supported spurs for about 18 years and i cannot remember when we looked so bad.

Players dont know what they themselves are doing never mind their teammates. Leaving out modric and playing gilberto? Pav up front on his own? As for assou-ekotto, i dont understand at all how he gets a game. He is a decent reserve to play 3-4 times a season but thats about it.

If we dont do something quick then i fear we could be relegated. I would be happy to see juande resign and poyet take over the reigns.

Im usually one of the people to say give it time but it is getting beyond a joke where it is fast approaching the stage that we are going to be in the crap. We were in the position where the club could not really do anything about the Berba and Keane situations as they both wanted to go and at that point we would of not got the best out of them. I think with the players we have bought in they are good as individuals but will have difficulty in settling in the team because Ramos selections have no balance.

It would not surprise me if alot of them wanted to jump ship in January and it will be certainly embarrasing if we get relegated or narrowly avoid it as alot of players will want out and we would get nowhere near the money we payed for them (Pav, Modric). It is going to be a long season and all the teams that we play are going to have no problems in the confidence department as they will think we are easy pickings and that they will hammer us into the floor, which will have the effect the team is going through now anyway as they must be dreading taking the field at the moment, although their salaries might make it a bit easier to swallow.

Thought O'Hara, Corluka and Dawson were alright today.

As for BAE and Gilberto - both awful.

Dawson did a good job. Both CDs did their jobs. Jenas flapping at the ball and a rebound poachers goal does not point the fingers at the central defense.

Don't understand what is going on?
Team selection bemuses me, players out of position, bereft of motivation, ideas or anything that I can cling on to. Whats the point?

Nothing wrong with Gio on the right and Lennon on the left. Gio is most comfortable on the left or in the middle and Lennon has looked decent on the left. Also Corluka had a decent game I thought.

Corluka was excellent today and he looks like a class player so i am not sure what your problem is with him. Dawson and O'Hara are not good enough for Spurs but then thats no big secret Zokora should also be added to the not good enough list.Strangley enough Zokora and O'Hara were both given new deals in the summer who's bright idea was that?!:shrug:And as for Ramos i still have faith in him becuase hasn't been able to get the CM players he wanted so untill he gets his own team not Martin Jol's cast offs we should give him a chance.

i'd like to add jenas, who seems inept as footballer, not physically or athletically, but mentally and knowledge wise. he stands five yards next to a teammate demanding the ball just so he can play a pass back to the defenders, no movement, no options, he wouldnt get in my monday night football game, and the other times he runs around aimlessly with his hands out open. i think he's trying to get work as glove model

the most important part of any team is its centre midfield, and our is championship standard at best at the moment. we cant do anything about it til january, and yet i dont expect us too becuase we dont address any of the problems areas that we need to for some strange reason.

last season berba was our creative midfielder, he was our carrick type player. we have no one like that in an important area and hence we might as well put the headless chickens out next game and save the players the effort of acting like them

For those who say lennon on the left is ok, yes it may well be ok, but ok isn't really what we need is it now? The man is far more effective on the right and dos santos more so on the lft. 9 times out of 10 lennon will have to come back on himself to cross the ball with his right foot, when playing on the left, whereas on his natural side he`ll be able to whip a cross over first time of asking, which doesn't give the defender that extra couple of seconds to sort himself out positionally.

O'Hara is again ok, but he nearly always has to turn full circle to get the ball onto his only useful foot, his left. Dawson did ok for periods of the game, but let Defoe turn him far too easily for the second goal, corluka never got across quick enough and where are any of our defence to help out Gomes(who made a decent save) and clear the resulting rebound.

Portsmouth have conceded 10 goals in two games and yet today(apart from a clear penalty) and one maybe two efforts never looked in any sort of danger.

Lets not hide behind the truth, we are very very bad right now, there is no other way to really look at it.

The future does look very dire.

Please all of those saying how well corluka is/played today, just what did he offer in todays game? He was turned a few times in the second half and played his part in the 2nd goal, maybe i would play him CB with woodgate and leave king on the bench, cos he doesnt help the set up, in and out of the team. CBs are like strikers they need a consistant and regular partner alongside them

I think I'm becoming very disillusioned with Spurs. Not to the point where I would stop supporting them, but still very disappointed. I don't go to every game, but i go as often as I can, and I'm on the season ticket waiting list, I buy a shirt every season, and i try to give the players all the support i can no matter how bad the are playing. I would never boo the players, I feel that is pointless, but something is seriously wrong.

I really dont know what is happening in the club, the direction they are heading, or there long term goals. For 3 seasons we have been told that we will be pushing for the champions league but we have spent the last two years struggling in the league. last years Carling Cup win was fantastic, we have had a couple of great years in Europe, and seen some amazing players pull on a Spurs shirt, but now the team, that has cost millions are really struggling.

We are told that the squad need time to gel, but I expect to see some progress but the players just seem more disjointed. Yes we have 30 million in the bank but who will want to join us. There is no Klingsmann out there to save us this time.

I know this is possibly a knee jerk reaction, we could thrash Hull next week and go on a wining spree that lifts us up the table, and all will be forgotten, but i think that may be worse (the forgetting bit not the winning bit). The management (and i mean Levy and the bored) need to realize that the last two seasons we have managed to erase any of the progress made the season before. Teams like Villa are improving each year and we have to start again at the beginning of the season.

We certainly have quality players, and a good coach. I think Commoli does a wonderful job and Levy has done allot to financially straighten the club but some where all these elements, the type of players we have, the management, supporting director, and their team of coaches, and the director are just not working together for the good of the club. There is no reason to be bottom of the league. But then the same could said for Newcastle (well despite the good coach comment). I really hope things improve.
