Straight loan is a non-starter. The fact we did it with Lenglet makes me worried we’re considering it

Is he an out and out WF, or could he play as a striker as well?

Too weak to play as a striker IMHO. Still a very good finisher and very good technique but he seems to have lost his pace and acceleration which is not great for a winger or wide forward.

I have to say, after thinking he may be a crocked player I was impressed by the highlights reel (I know, I know…). The kid looks incredibly relaxed in front of goal both in his finishing and creating.

0 interest if its just a loan tbh! Hope there's a buy option or an obligation to buy if he plays a certain amount of games or something of that nature.

Personally think a loan with an option/obligation is a good deal. We will have a lot of wingers however Perisic annd Gil won’t be here next year and Son will be moved to CF.

He is young and got great talent hopefully we get him and he kicks on.

I must admit to never really have watched him play. Why are Barcelona letting him go?

I think he would turn out to be a very clever addition. He would add a whole new dimension to our attacking play. Johnson and Fati coming in would give us a lot of options for the front 3. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if we managed to get both in 🤞🏼

Johnson I’m onboard with.

Fati, yes, but only on the right terms. Need some kind of option to buy so we can properly assess his injury situation

Would be exciting though

I don't think we would be interested if we didn't at least have an option on him

Yeh it will be good but to be honest after VDV was hobbling last night I am more worried about getting a proper decent CB. We are way to light at CB, just surprised we are prioritising attack.

I think there’s definitely been a little misconception regarding injuries with him. He’s not particularly injury prone, it’s more that he had a big injury that set him back and has forced him to change his game. He’s very much still adapting to the changes the injury forced upon him. For example he doesn’t take on players as much as he used to. There is clearly a mental issue regarding his adaptation to the physical effects of his injury. The question marks more come from if he will be able fully develop into a player that utilises all his raw ability. I have seen him feature post injury and you forget he’s even on the pitch at times. He’d need a lot of work but we shouldn’t be too worried about him being injured every other week.

Would love to see both join personally but we also desperately need a CB. We are one injury away from playing Sanchez every single game.

He has always impressed me, but as has been said post injury he doesn’t look quite as quick. The question is that a physical problem or a mental one. His stats last year are excellent for a player his age. Loan with an option to buy, Levy special, would be ideal, I can’t imagine his wages are high. I’d be all for it.

He can't have less acceleration or pace than Kulu surely?

These are big questions for me. What’s his output been like post injury if you don’t mind me asking?
