LOL is that any different to us approaching other coaches whilst he's still employed? Fact is it suits everyone if this is true so lets not make too much of a double standard fuss.

Yes, there is a huge difference, if we are still paying his contract out, then its Spurs call!

Morally though no not really!

Yes It is a tough one to take the moral high ground on, he did burn us in a press conference, and take the money, whilst looking for another job i think you could argue his ethically in the wrong!

And his contract runs out in the Summer. Is he not allowed to look at what he's going to do when that happens? It's like no other contractor ever secures other contracts for when their current one ends. I swear some of you are just looking for reasons to be angry with the bloke. You are getting what you want, he's going, now cut the guy some slack.

And saying all of that this might not even be true ffs.

I'm guessing everyone is fine with us 'drawing up shortlists' etc. while he's under contract here too? Double standards innit ;)

Would you do away with the Bosman ruling too?

In the past, we have done the dirty on a lot of managers! However, this time round, I don’t think we’re showing double standards.

Ofc looking for a job for next season is fair, I’m guessing the year option is mutual and spurs can’t just take it out

we are paying him, so it is our choice and we have not sacked him so he is under contract!

Not to mention he burnt the house down, then went home! His not apologised, just made his position unattainable!

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Can't bring myself to get annoyed about this even if it's true. I'm sure that this kind of thing happens all the time.
