Having watched all three of the "favourites" yesterday, I honestly don't think there is a standout team in the league this season. It's encouraging for us because it makes you think anything could be possible, but in reality I have got more concerns this season that Arsenal could win the title than I did this time last year. There doesn't seem like the same inevitability with City as there was last season.

Really difficult to call at the moment.
De Bruyne being out seems to be having a huge effect on City.

I just don't see it with Arsenal so far this season. It feels like I'm watching a different side to all these pundits who are gushing over them.

Me as well.

Theyre solid enough and have good imdividual goal threats but im not convinced with their overall attacking play, something definitely lacking.

Liverpool can be leaky at the back but their attacking play is far superior to Arsenals.

The table will reflect that soon enough.

All really quiet on the Reya front which is really surprising, thought he was awful again yesterday and for all the flak Sanchez is getting just as much needs to be thrown Raya’s way!

He could have gifted Chelsea two or three goals. It was only their profligacy that saved Arsenal from an absolute hammering. He was really bad yesterday.

If Raya had let in the equalising goal, he’d probably be getting more flak.

Instead the attention is on the comeback and the incidents involved.

Arsenal have to be concerned over their goalkeeping. Ramsdale did a good job last season. They’ve tried upgrading but at this stage it doesn’t look like they have.

They looked very poor yesterday and Chelsea were cutting through them at will.
If chelsea had taken their opportunities at 2-0 (twice taking it round the keeper and failing to score Edt* one time he failed to take it round the keeper) there’s no way anyone would be gushing about arsenal.
At 2-2 though I was worried as there only looked one winner, chelsea looked ropey after letting them back in it.

De Bruyne being out seems to be having a huge effect on City.
I watched the first half yesterday and there was only one team in that game, Foden and Doku were outstanding.

The only time I feel City are vulnerable is when Rodri is out. They'll walk the league again this year.

Arsenal however are no great shakes, they will drop as the season goes on, Chelsea should have won yesterday and Chelsea aren't that good.

Second half though Brighton had a lot of chances and were unlucky to lose.

I see arteta was booked after the final whistle.
I know this season it is 3 yellow cards for managers to get a touch line ban.
Anyone know where we can find managers yellow cards for the season?
I know Ange is zero cards of course 😀

The worry is they are picking points despite playing average.

We should have beaten them.
Chelsea should have yesterday.
City should have been a draw.

Yet they gained 4 points from those situations.

Having said that, they were trying to knock our start to the season about 'not playing anyone' net their first bit away visit and they were poor and 2 down.

They wont find themselves so lucky at Anfield, Etihad, Villa Park, St James, and dare I say it, Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

They will have to be a lot better than that.

Funny though how Arsenal get a lucky draw against Chelsea and they get praised endlessly.

Yet we beat Liverpool, which I think is much harder, and the only thing people talked about was VAR and how lucky we were.

Eugh. I always knew Poch was a wrong'un.

Because he knew Artea before he went to Arsenal? Because he was sacked before Arteta became Arsenal manager? Because they knew each other from when Poch played for PSG?Okay then.
