PSG attempt to Villas-Boas. And Hiddink remains on course

Article published Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 17:56 - International Soccer , Football .

Who will sit on the bench at the Parc des Princes? The Paris Saint-Germain is stalling on the choice for the coach, Guus Hiddink at this time despite the renewal option with Anzhi remains in the race. Hiddink has called for economic and technical guarantees to the company that will do in the evening if a concrete proposal, but first PSG would like to make an attempt to get to André Villas-Boas. He is the last name, it will try to pay the clause of 10 million in Tottenham. And then depending on who will be chosen, will be freed Carlo Ancelotti, target Real Madrid. Where the coach have already chosen for months.

Again, Di Marzio gets some solid information. Doesn't mean he's always right, but he's had some really good info in the last year or so.

Spanish papers said they agreed a deal with another manager to replace ancelotti if he goes, can't remember who but not AVB

I can see the fucked up logic of supersilly rich clubs going for AvB considering Bales recent declaration of man love for him.

They might well want him but they won't get him. I think AVB is enjoying his time here and probably feels grateful that we gave him the chance to move to a big club after his time at Chelsea.

Didnt he buy himself out of his Porto contract when Chelsea came calling?

Hope youre right, but he is clearly pretty determined to get to the top... PSG are closer to the top than we are and the sky is the limit with their cash, like it or not

You have to hope that faith in a sense of loyalty will pay off one of these days though.

Wouldn't be so sure myself, although we gave him the chance again I don't think our Andre would be so loyal towards us if this chance presented itself.

No, Abramovic payed the fee for us (nice man that he is).

PSG might have money but they're still in the French league and no offence but it's not exactly everyones dream to be involved in it (unless you're French maybe).

I'm not worried now but I think this will be a problem in the future. In our favour, we gave AVB a chance, hopefully he appreciates that. Levy needs to give AVB full backing or someone bigger will.

Last sentence is the crucial bit for me, we've heard avb's transfer targets and most are out of our league financially and we know levy's way of working can be frustrating, the last 2 windows we've failed with 2 transfers that would have broken our transfer record. You do wonder how long avb will stick around if he doesn't get the players he wants and big boys come knocking for him
