If you offered me a CB at random from the championship or Dier I’d take my chances with the championship CB. He’s absolutely atrocious.

Dier hasn’t been appearing on any lists of players we are open to offers for. But surely a word is now going to be had with him to let him know that it’s in his interest to find somewhere to go.
I thought I'd heard somewhere early in the season that he wasn't interested in moving at this point.

We better not offer him a new contract though.

Well for a while there was some decent stuff played, especially first half. Second half eventually showed up the frailties with many of em. And maybe confirmed a few things with Ange.

Don't think Laporte should be one of them, little bit immobile for my liking. Need pacy defenders with a high line, Schurrs is more suited IMO.
I've never seen Schuurs play, so I'll have to defer judgement to other SC members who haven't seen him either but sound like they've been watching him since he was 12.

Thought no talk is odd. Doesn't he have 12 months on his contract ?

I think Porro and Reggy have shown enough going forward that if Ange thinks he can coach his methods into them he'll be more than happy to keep them. All of our full backs need to be given a bit of slack here as they're being asked to pay a very different role than usual with being asked to join in the middle and have only had what a month with the new manager?
I thought Porro showed well tonight overall. Less sure about Reguilon. Ange has already said he like Davies at LB - in a numbers game, I can see Reguilon being moved in the next few weeks.

I have noticed that he likes to stay back - a lot. Makes me nervous - like he lacks confidence to come out to get some of those balls, and/or just cut down the angles.

I will trust the scouting. But, I wouldn't mind a last minute hijack of David Raya...
he is VERY tentative to cut out the depth and his lateral positioning is very dodgy when the ball falls wide. even some of the ones he managed to block, there was a feeling he'd be first to the ball with the needed aggressiveness/speed to closeout the space but instead he allows the runner to flick it or contest it. this is bad in itself but with the way the team is looking to press and extend further up the pitch, this becomes suicide.

I know you’re joking but we were fine until we tired last 10-15 mins and brought on a load of youngsters.

That being said we all know Dier needs to go and in an ideal world we upgrade Reggie but I think mostly our legs went.
I think he was referring to the people on here.

If it were up to me, I would sell Richarlison this summer to some Italian side or PSG , for 25m or 30m and recoup whatever we can.

Richarlison is still trying to pick up a fight than find spaces and look to score

He's an idiot if he doesn't leave because if he keeps playing like that then even Phillips will usurp him before long and he won't play a minute all season.
