With the new regime under way...or at least the old regime gone there is alot of talk regarding recalling loan players etc. Although Ade had a great day today I wasn't and am not convinced that his reinstatement is good in the long run, however he is class and I can see the merits short term. However BAE is a different prospect, I know he is a fan favourite in some quarters but I can't help but feel like this guy led a mutiny against AVB and instead of maintaining professional standards was quick to cheer away spurs losses, I don't want him back, I would rather play rose till the summer with verts as alternative, then buy in a top quality LB. Think for the sake of long term harmony the trouble makers need to move on

Naughton or Fryers at LB if Rose gets injured yaaaaaaay!

It would personally be my first bit of January business to recall Benny.

Just because Benny likes some fun on the side doesn't mean he's a trouble-maker. Any team would love to have him as a back-up left-back. Vertonghen has said he doesn't like left-back, and I don't like him playing there either, as it means we are one class centre back short. That leaves either Naughton ( :hungover: ) or Fryers, who just isn't ready.

tl;dr we need him, at least for the rest of the season.

Couldn't disagree with this more

Benni has showed himself to be as honest a footballer as you’ll find. Doesn't 'kiss the badge' like some. Tells it like it is.

AVB has man management issues and should have sorted these out for the better of the team. Not having a proper left back for ages was absolute bollox and completely the fault of AVB who quite abviously has problems communicating with various players and staff

I'd bring him back, we've missed him.

At the least he's good cover for Rose, dont want Naughton, Fryers or Verts playing there.

Well I think we all agree that we need a 2nd left back so why not Benny?

Be interesting if Sherwood stays in charge into January whether he wants Benny back - clearly he disagrees with Ade's treatment

I don't like the way he takes shots at AVB in public.

When he comes back he'll only be back up, lets see how he reacts then.

Why would this matter? He's a mercenary who obviously hates the club!

Joking aside, interesting two tweets from Benny today:

I think sometimes you can afford the luxury of a lazy attacking player however you can never afford that luxury with a lazy defender.

I used to love Benny but the twitter post("great game tonight") and pic did it for me and now think hes a clown so get rid. Fact is that post was made an hour after the game had finished and between them they were holding 5 fingers up - even if that was an innocent mistake then he is obviously as thick as a whale omelette so we should get rid of him on those grounds!. Don't care what he thought of AVB, he was disrespecting everyone at the club so he can do one.
