Kuranyi? The bloke who makes Berbatov look like Roy of the Rovers?

Stop messing about.

C'mon SS57, if you think Harry can make Benzema play well, then Kuranyi is a guaranteed 25 goal scorer for Spurs.... right?

Benzema looks totally uninterested and makes Anelka look like Roy of the Rovers as well :violin:

So truly, if Spurs had to take that long shot bet on resurrecting a player, at least Kuranyi has a track record of success. Benzema was talked up in the media and played half speed for Lyon, then signed a PHAT contract with Real Madrid. Not just damaged goods, but spoiled produce.

So I say, "Benzema? Really?... Stop messing about."

I cant see him coming anyway, isnt he playing alot more for real now?

He hasn't been starting in the league, only a few sub apperances. But he is playing a bit more in the CL. Started against Ajax yesterday and scored a real nice goal.

exactly, to say Defoe has no movement is deluded at best. His movement has become one of his main strengths.

WOW and to think I got flamed for suggesting Charlie and BAE switch off an cost us goals.

Defoe and Crouch are great. Not sure what happens with VdV now that Defoe is back? Maybe play 2 of them off a target man in an attacking front 5. But we really would have to rely on Lennon Bale & poss Modric coping with combative midfields.

However, Not sure about Pav and Keane (Although Keane is playing a blinder for me in PES 2011). Benzema would be a step up as would Fabiano, I presume we couldn't pursuade Schalke to sell KvH. I would also like a hungry yuf striker around the squad. We keep hearing of promising reserve and youth players and then they are of to the Championship.

care to elaborate on that one?

Harry Kane is a number 10 type striker. He has the size to be able to cope physically also, but he needs to grow into himself a little bit ore if you get me. He has been in amazing form for our u18s and Spurs XI sides this season, as well as last season when he was on the subs bench in 1 or 2 games. I think he's scored about 15 goals this season, last season he played 22 games and scored 18 goals too. But the likes of Barnard & Pekhart would score goals for fun in the reserves and well they arent with us anymore.

I'll be very surprised if he doesn't make it at the top level - I just hope it is with us. He just needs to keep doing what he's doing & sooner or later Redknapp will have to take notice. Kane has been captain of our Academy for over a year already, so he is obviously being recognised as both a talent & a leader. I suspect, at some point, he will be loaned out & then we will all see what he is made of for real.

Theres a youtube video of some of our academy game back in August against Manure where he played and did very well. Playing along Kudus Oynwenga (sp) who is also another one to look out for. If both of these lads break through in the future, watch out for them. Kudus is a monster of a kid in his size.

Here's a good article about him....
