Stoke 0-4 [Away] Last season. Not the strongest opponents, but that performance sent out a message to everyone IMHO

For pure, unrelenting excitement, 2-1 v Arsenal in 14/15. We battered them until Harry Kane stepped up with a poetic winner. I can remember almost every bit of play from that game.

The match that cemented our place as a great team that's really going places was 2-0 v Chelsea this year. We could not have faced a tougher opponent in greater form and yet we made them look like a mid table outfit.

Just a shame that message turned out to be "come watch us fuck it up against West Brom at the weekend!" :p

For me it's between the two City games. First one edges it for the clinical goalscoring despite conceding one. The Chelsea game this season was obviously brilliant and a fantastic result, but if I was being a really harsh critic I'd say the performance was a little overrated and not quite our best. For all our control of the play we only made two chances, and gave up two which were at least as good - it came down to the fact that Dele was in form that day and Hazard wasn't. That's still phenomenal given how well they were playing at the time, but it wasn't our absolute best.

I think the best thing Poch has done is beat off the fans and other players and got a chance to be pictured next to our very own @Dougal

Bit harsh, Chelsea had won 13 in a row and their defence had looked impregnable up until that point, Hazard and Costa were on fire and I thought we handled them superbly rendering their wing backs useless. In terms of our game management that's probably the best I've seen...The way we played reminded me of an experienced team in the latter stages of the CL, just a really mature performance.

The one where I thought "Wow" was 1-2 at City last year

Was just about to post that this game has been forgotten. Valentines day last year, such a tight game, the whole team stepped up, leading to be pegged back and to go again and win that game when City were pushing was incredible. One of my favourite memories as a Spurs fan

City or Chelsea this season

This. I give the edge to the City game, as I thought City's players actually played rather well and fought for it, they were just out-tacticked, out-maneuvered, and out-played in every facet of the game, and our midfield just completely engulfed and denied every rhythm theirs tried to establish. The Chelsea match was a fantastic performance from us, but Chelsea just looked a bit shell-shocked the entire time.

So for me, while the Chelsea one was extremely satisfying and a fantastic performance, the City one for me was the most complete.

i think when we beat West Ham last season when they were actually decent, we played some of the best football i have seen under Poch in that game. winning 4-1 in the end, absolutely battered them

5-3 win against Chelsea was the game we were all waiting for under Pochettino and we haven't looked back since. That result made the players and fans start to believe.

I hovered over 3 or 4 or these before going with the 5-3. I was so hangover I could barely lift my head off the sofa. But instantly felt better after this game. But all those mentioned have been fantastic performances. and our consistency and our solidity now is scary.

The 5-3 against Chelsea was the most exciting for me. Kane and a couple of others really stepped up that night.

But the 2-0 against Chelsea this season was a great team performance, really felt like we had grown.

5-3 v. Chelski is easily the most enjoyable. I had to look back at the lineup. I remember thinking we were going to be totally outplayed. Here is the lineup for Spurs that night. Lloris, Walker, Fazio, Vertonghen, Rose, Bentaleb, Mason, Townsend, Eriksen, Chadli, Kane. That is not what I would consider a good lineup, but you could see the pieces starting to come together. Walker and Rose dominating the flanks. Eriksen and Kane becoming deadly. A totally unexpected outcome, but it was magic when Kane beat the entire Chelsea defense to power one into the bottom left corner.

However, I voted for the 2-0 v Chelsea this year. That match wasn't a shock like the 5-3. We went out there, played the top team at the top of their form, and just beat the hell out of them. Competent, well planned, professional. Deadly.

That's the match that I realized our run this year wasn't luck or a weaker top 6 (like 15/16). We were just good.

I really like the Stoke match the 4-0 away last season in April (had to quantify that cause we've beaten them 4-0 so many times :p) There was something about that match which really excited me, we just constantly ripped through them with ease, played some really good football and should have scored a lot more, that was a match which made me and everyone else sit up and realise that we mean fucking business. Even though I don't think that it was our best performance I think it was one of the most enjoyable under Poch.

I think for me it might be the City game this season.

The Chelsea 5-3 was a great win, but not a great performance. We conceded three goals.

And the Chelsea game this season was great too but very very tight, we just edged it.

City we dominated.

Definitely harsh, but that's how I see it. It was a very, very good performance, but not our best. In another world Dele misses one of the headers or sees it saved, while Hazard scores one of the two guilt-edged chances. The game management, the performance, the tactical supremacy are all exactly the same, but the final score is 1-1. Does it then get even considered as the best performance? No. For me, if we're talking about an absolute top performance, it's one where you struggle to see how we could have failed to win the game given how well we did. That isn't the case with the Chelsea one.

Totally agree.

Really surprised to see Chelsea 2-0 get so many votes. T'was a very competent, professional performance, but I wouldn't say we totally dominated them, or were enormously pleasing to watch in our style of play.

2-1 v Arsenal was a game where - despite the close-looking scoreline - our sheer aggressiveness and desire made me stand up and take notice. A brilliant pressing display all over the pitch, that performance had everything: resilience, confidence, precision. One of the most enjoyable Spurs games I've ever watched.

5-3 v Chelsea was great too, although we conceded too many goals to call that our best performance.

I also though 2-0 v City this season was a more enjoyable performance than the Chelsea game, although clearly Chelsea were much tougher opponents.
