But, more than anything he's just really good and while we're loaded at the position, I think you could make a case for him simply because he would be our most versatile midfielder should he come to us.

I like the guy but I just don't know if it makes sense given our squad right now. IMO he'd be behind Sandro and Capoue at DM, behind at least Dembele and Paulinho at CM, and if we ever start playing with an AM he'd have Eriksen, Holtby, Chadli, Lamela, and Siggy to compete with. It's a real Levy move with him on a short contract but I don't know if he would even make our bench once we get through some of our injury woes.

Simply not needed nor is he an improvement.

To improve you need to get much better quality than you have, sadly like arsenal did with Ozil.

Again, they may buy costa in January and he'd massively improve them.

We need to be doing similar and getting a top cb, another lb and a striker.

Then we can get rid of the likes of Defoe, sigurdsson and Dawson to improve further.
