I haven’t seen Whittaker before, although I heard an interview with him where he said he enjoyed the showboating etc, I don’t know if I like it, but at least he can back it up with good boxing skills.
Done it all the way from youth level so it clearly works for him, perhaps if he makes it to the top top level I’m sceptical whether it works but I do quite like it.
Can clearly see why others don’t.

This is getting silly now. Apparently that photo is from 20 years ago and tyson needs a walking stick and has been seen using a wheelchair. Even if it's a work, it doesn't seem right.

I felt pretty sad seeing that when it was announced

I know Tyson has a lot of money issues but hoped he wdnt have to resort to this

I hate that I'm looking forward to Joshua vs Ngannou. I think Joshua will treat it like a real fight whereas I believe Fury was coasting then got surprised. I expect Joshua to win by stoppage.

More interested in the Parker vs Zhang fight though. Zhang is slight favourite with the bookies but I think Parker will beat him on points.

Hope Francis knocks him out.
I've had a few mates say this... I would much rather a convincing stoppage for Joshua to set up a future fight (which should have happened ages ago) with Fury. I'd rather that this generation of fighters don't just fizzle out. Would much rather witness some potentially great heavyweight fights than revel in some weird schadenfreude.

We have to bear in mind that Ngannou is going to be better than he was against Fury. That was his first boxing match, he was debuting everything he had learned up until that point and he looked smart, strong and competent. He's now had 5 months to work on that - his fitness isn't in doubt, he didn't look like he was exhausted after a few rounds more than he'd normally be on his feet, so Joshua had best be taking this seriously as it's tough to call.

Logic says Joshua, all day long, he's the pro who's got experience behind him, but both guys have a big punch in them so on the night - couldn't call it. Will be interesting.

I just wish the Paul v Tyson fight involved Tyson in his prime. I mean, don't get me wrong, he could likely still execute the lad if he decided to but this is a payday, likely a tremendously big one. I'm just curious how serious Paul is taking it, is he genuinely going to swing at Tyson? I don't think he's got the balls.

Yeah Fury Joshua would be great but personally as more of an mma fan I’d like to see Francis get the win.

Or he loses, returns to the UFC for a fight against Tom Aspinal at White Hart Lane...

Jon Jones 👀.

Think he will return anyway. To beat Joshua and Tyson (imo) and return to fight Jones or Aspinal and win would be huge.

From the Beeb.

The scorecards are in.

114-112 Vargas.

116-110 Ball.

113-113.

WTF, how can the scores be so different?

I like the staff, classy touch, like he's off to discover the Ark of the Covenant after the interview

Only saw the last few rounds but listened the first half on the radio… that sounds like a robbery…
How on earth has one judge awarded the win to the guy who got knocked down twice? If you squint really hard you might find some justification for the tied card (though not a lot), but that seems....and interesting decision.
