To finish in the top 8 this season, we'll need a minimum 30 goals (maybe even 40) from the starting front 3 attackers. It doesn't matter what system Son, Richarlison and Kulusevski have played in over the last year: they've been completely lacking when it comes to end product.

Aside from a striker, the club should take a long look at a goal scoring versatile wing-forward. Olmo or Kudus would both be good fits for this system.

Colour me unconvinced by the front 3. Son and Kulu are not playing how Ange wants his wingers to play and both are not beating their man whatsoever.

GLC for Skipp at some point in the second half, along with Solomon for Kulu.

not expecting Skipp to go out for the second half. on a yellow, no impact, erratic, uninspiring. either Sarr or Lo Celso would do, depending on Ange's plans.

So many people pissing themselves because it's not perfect on day one, christ. It was always going to take time for such an intensive style of play to become second nature to the players, particularly after the stodgy, plodding style we played with last season.
Totally agree, really happy so far all things considered.

Need a pacy winger that can beat his man. Only issue. Can Solomon do it? The kane money needs to go to that position

Last season many said ( me included)they’d be happy losing if we were more adventurous, well here it is. Much better to watch and games are going to be fun whilst players and the system bed in. Tough place to go and a decent first half, front foot and pressing.

Not watching but I see Romero has been subbed. Was it a knock or something more serious?

Well, enjoying it so far. We are not going to win the league but it's going to be more fun than the last few years.

For those saying Ange needs to rip them one at HT. Personally at this stage I think it would be counterproductive. Ange needs to reaffirm what he wants from them but having a go may just go the other way.
He has said publicly that he doesn’t get angry if players make awful mistakes or play badly if he can tell that those mistakes/performances happened while they were trying, 100%, to implement his instructions.

Only Ange will know where we sit with that scenario at the moment

Its a very congested center - i wonder why Maddison is on the left, Royal is in the center, Skipp's kind of on the left. Kulu and Son not really being used. Ange needs to sort it out.
