Well done Utd. Splashing out on some Portuguese fancy dan and blocking the progress of young English talent like Jesse Lingaard.

Hi. Long time no post, but just one point. I would be SHOCKED if Sporting let Bruno go this coming week. It's the Lisboa derby next Friday, and Sporting, although no real chance of catching Benfica, will be desperate for him to play in that game. Selling by far their best player before the Benfica game would go down very badly. The fans already hate the current president, but there is just the slight hint that the team is turning a corner, so the timing would be terrible for that. After the 17th, fairly confident Bruno goes.

The most frustrating thing about this reported Utd deal is that they're offering basically the same deal we did in the summer apparently. 70m euros in instalments which Sporting rejected.

Now that's good enough it seems but we're now not gonna bid, despite him being a great option to replace Eriksen.

Hoping that we might get involved but doubt it.

Levy offered 20m€ in bonuses if we win EPL or CL which they refused for obvious reasons, he's worth more than 45m. If those quotes from dailymail were true anyway.

I almost died a painful death watching us against Norwich, Southampton and Middlesbrough trying to create some decent chances. Never mind

I’m confused why people are crying about this. It was clear at the time our interest was just a negotiation tactic to get the Lo Celso fee down. Besides he plays at number 10 the same as Lo Celso and Alli. Alli is evidently undroppable so it would makes nonsense to bring yet another number 10 in when Lo Celso can’t even get a game.

United were on the verge of signing him for the entire summer last year, according to the press. It turns out they only made the most basic of enquiries.

Bruno will probably go there this window, to be managed by Poch from the summer.

Probably just using us to get more money out of Utd.
Certainly a possibility, but its well quoted that Mourinho likes the player and we know how close we were to getting him in the summer, so I wouldn't be shocked if it was true.

Watch the video. The guy says ‘in London talking to a PL club, probably Tottenham’. This is all a misunderstanding from beIN - Sporting have always been in London, talking to United officials.
