English version ?
From google translate, so not great...English version ?
I’d prefer Lo Celso, but if Pochettino has said he’d be happy with Bruno instead then I’m all for it.
If it’s one of these two plus Coutinho then I’ll personslly begin building a statue of Baldy to replace the golden cockerel!
Why? Cause his ex-coach thinks he deserves to?
What if United aren't in for him? What if Fernandes thinks the best move for him is Tottenham? Not saying he won't go there but that is just an opinion piece.
My Portuguese work buddy is a Sporting fan and so watches them when he can. For context however it is important to point out that he, like the other Portuguese fans I work with (there are 6 in my department) has an overinflated opinion of all Portuguese players (e.g. Nani etc).
He thinks Bruno Fernandes is a "good" player who had a brilliant season. Some of his goals were penalties and many from in and around the box. However when asking him to compare Fernandes to other Sporting players, he doesn't really put him in the same bracket as the really good ones. He doesn't know if BF would be effective in the Premier League as the Portuguese league offers a lot more time and space than the EPL.
And at the prices being quoted, he thinks Sporting would be mental not to accept a bid of over €30m.
So basically BF is a good player who had a great season but he's not a standout player like Sporting have had in the past. Doesn't mean he can't go on to be superb of course... and this is all one person's opinion.
No you’re right, surely we’d be hearing some vocalsSurely if we were actually singing these guys it wouldn't be so quiet
What red flags? Honest question.BF has so many red flags attached to him.
Could come off but he's the only one I don't want to pay over the odds for.
There's a lot of talk about him not suiting the physicality which I guess is a concern but not my main one. What red flags? Honest question.

My concern is the nerdy stats side when looking at his passing %. He's basically being used as the quintessential "luxury player" where he's been allowed to look for hollywood balls all the time and the side don't mind that he gives the ball away A LOT and lacks defensive discipline when going forwards as well so a lot of his attacking results are very inflated.
He won't be able to do any of that here. Could Poch change up his game and get good work out of him? Sure. Do we know what that will end up like? Not really. So it's a lot of red flags and concerning.
Someone like Coutinho or Lo Celso bring a lot more to the game all around and are therefore less concerning.
Think he'll take the Dele role but can operate in Ndombeles, although I think he'd find it hard in the PL in the latter. So if our formation looks something like.
Kane
Son Dele Moura
Winks N’Dombele
Where does this guy play? Similar to Dele? Can he cover wide like Moura/son.

Defensively and discipline wise he's well short from Lo Celso and still short of Coutinho. I also count discipline as how much he gives the ball away.I agree that his stats from last season are inflated cause he took the role of star player, but he doesn't behave as a diva on the pitch. defensively, he works a lot for the team and I disagree that he lacks discipline.
Besides the inflated stats/role my major concerns are the lack of 1 vs 1 flair and the fact that he has not proved himself at top level.
Yeah he isnt a player you can depend on to control games. Tends to drift in and out and doesn't have the presence to run games or the ability to always keep the ball under tight pressure. That's not to say he can't do some of these aspects it's just he won't have the consistency.Defensively and discipline wise he's well short from Lo Celso and still short of Coutinho.
