Yes, the 4 goals were a friendly but that was a taster of what he could have had, if he'd have stayed.
Imagine how many goals he'd have bagged for us this season? In a team with great spirit and playing great football.

I don't wish for him to fail, far from it but I do find the way things are turning out quite funny.
I'm a Spurs fan, not a Harry fan, so I don't owe him anything either because he doesn't play for us anymore.

I agree and that would have loved him to stay.
I guess I stopped thinking about the what if a few games in to the season!
I'm a Spurs fan and a Harry fan, best striker I have seen for us and hope he comes back one day if it's right for both.

Yeah, I get that.
I lost a lot of love/respect for him after the attempt to go to Man City and returning late for pre-season and from then on the "relationship" all felt a bit hollow.
As @BorjeSpurs said, it started to feel that he didn't love the club as much as he said he did, more like he was only out for himself.

I know that's a bit daft but football's a game of emotions and for one of our greatest ever players, there just didn't seem to be that emotional attachment with Kane.

I appreciate that we got good money for him in the end but there's a part of me that thinks he was wrong to go to Bayern, or maybe that he went for the wrong reasons.

We've moved on now though and even my son said today that he wouldn't want him back until a couple of years after he's retired. Then he can come back, wave at the fans at half time and get his adulation.

I don't think I'd want him back to play for us anymore.

I think if it's right then always door open for him! I also think we have evolved as a team without him.

My son was mascot for one of the England games and was overwhelmed when Kane high fived him. He follows the odd Bayern game too.

I do think Kane its reasonable that he does go on the hunt for trophies as nothing guaranteed with us.

Funnily I think I may miss Sonny more!

Fair enough I Just don't really understand the humour at him not winning it.
I think it's just funny he's gone there for what is normally a guaranteed trophy every season, and they're now 5 points behind, playing rubbish football compared to Leverkusen and compared to Spurs.

They might well still overhaul Leverkusen at the end of it all, but, it is funny that the one 99% guaranteed trophy with Bayern is the one he might not end up winning.

That and it's a bit of a meh league to win anyway with Bayern. The fact they win it every year is the same as PSG and Ligue 1.

I think that it stems from a feeling that we loved Harry more than he loved us.

The Gary Neville interview and angling for a move to City in the summer of 2021.

Describing Spurs as 'the club I'm at now' as opposed to his boyhood club when trying to build his brand in the US.

We have loads of former players that shows us support on social media, which Harry hasn't done since he left, even when we were top of the league after 10 games.

The reason he stayed as long as he did was because he and his brother signed a 6 year deal, which they later regretted. Son signed a new contract three weeks after Nuno was appointed. The true connection with the fans lies in all the small things you do every week.

You can tell it means the world to Sonny to captain this club.

My half-hearted schadenfreude comes from Bayern’s notoriously smug reporter, plus the plethora of “he’s come to win something” comments from their fans after the transfer.

I want Kane to smash the goal-scoring record but I’m not fussed about Bayern winning the league.

Kane made his choice, I don’t really care if he goes on to win things or not. I support Spurs, not Kane.

And it’s February, Leverkusen haven’t won it yet, there’s a long way to go.

Absolutely spot on. I feel exactly the same. Couldn't give a hot shit if Kane or Dier for that matter never won a thing in Germany. I'll add to this that I wouldn't want wither of them back at Tottenham either. It seems weird that we shaped the team around Kane and we won nothing (Champs League Final isn't a win) and now he's in Munich as their centrepiece and look what's happening thus far.

Kane suits the bundesliga, Thomas Muller may as well be his real life boring German uncle, 2 peas 🫛 in a pod.

“Hey Harry do you like goals?”
“Yes Thomas do you like goals”
“Yes Harry I also like goals”
“Thomas shall we go and score some goals?”
“Yes Harry let’s go out and train and score some goals”
“Ok Thomas let’s go now and score some goals”
“Ok Harry we will go now”
“Ok Thomas”

It’s never gonna be right for us to either sign a 31/32 year for £60m+ or to sign a 34 year old on a free to be our main FW(which he would want to be).

Good luck to him and I think everyone appreciates what he did for us. However, no way would I want him back it’s just not what a top run club should even consider.

...Thomas Tuchel is said to have said to his players in the dressing room: "You're not as good as I thought, then I just have to adapt to your level," Sky presenter Riccardo Basile quoted in Triple on Thursday evening - the Schüttflix football talk is a source from the Bayern team circle.
How not to keep the players onside. Penny for your thoughts, Harold.

I am going to see Harry and his teammates on Sunday at the Ruhrstadion and I hope that their losing streak continues. Gonna wear my Bochum-Shirt and of course my lilywhite scarf. Should I ask for an autograph before the game? 🤔

I would ask yes. Make him think about what he left behind. Hopefully after a big win for us on Saturday too.

That was a horrible finish by Kane, especially when he could have passed for a certain goal.

Musiala’s beautiful pass deserved better.
