Completely nullified by Lester and WBA so I doubt anyone is shaking in their boots anymore.

Two teams who sit back and defend deep, majority of teams in the CL like to go play high up the pitch and leave spaces and our best performances tend to be saved for teams where we have less possession, teams will be vary wary of that.

Key deciding factor is, will we have a match fit, injury free squad by February? If so, I'll fancy our chances greatly in the next round. Very greatly indeed.

Probably not, but then again neither is anyone else likely to. Injuries are normal. If you don't have the squad depth to handle them, that's where your problem is.

That's a whole other debate, on one hand, but 1) it is possible to have an injury free squad at some point in the season (most clubs do at some point), and 2) I believe we have a large, underlying injury problem, and even if we don't we've had our fair share of it, so if the injury luck turns I think we are in it with a chance.

We've certainly been hampered by injuries this season and it's the league form that has suffered. Doubt we'd have dropped as many points/goals if we hadn't lost big Vic and Toby. As you say, it's almost important to be injury free, but let's hope by the time February comes round we have the majority of our key players fit and firing. They will certainly be doing all they can to be in with a shot the longer we remain in the CL.

I'd love to get either of those.

I think we'd benefit by being the underdog.

Plus, I want us to play the biggest clubs. It puts us on the map.

I want us to play these teams later in the competition and earn good prize money by progressing as far as possible.

Hopefully not Bayern or Juventus.

Wouldn't mind Juve, particularly with the second leg at Wembley.

Sevilla
Basel
Porto
Juve
Shakhtar
Bayern

Think we could beat Shakhtar, but the travelling is not ideal.

i'm hoping for Juve or Bayern. We have the beating of both them teams so can progress. Always wanted us to play these big teams so why not now....

I genuinely don't care who we are paired against.

All I ask is that whomever it may be, we turn out and give a damn fine account of ourselves over the two legs.

My preferation in the draw:
1. Porto -> Juventus -> Basel -> Sevilla -> Bayern -> Shakhtar

Shakhtar are tricky and ridiculously far away. Bayern I'd look forward to, but fear they'll just be too solid. I've wanted us to experience both Porto and Juve for a while due to their tradition in the Champions League, and I think we can take em too.
