From the official site:

Charlie Wijeratna, Executive Director with commercial responsibility, left the Club on 17 January 2012.

Daniel Levy, Chairman, said: “I’d like to thank Charlie for his work since he’s been with us. He has overseen the successful overhaul of the brand and the Club’s visual identity. We wish him the best of luck in the future.”

Charlie Wijeratna said: “I’ve enjoyed my time at Spurs. It has been an exciting environment to work in and I am proud of the work I have done with my team to position the Club for the next phase of its commercial development.”

Was he not the guy in charge of securing funding for the new stadium? Had been trekking round the Middle East trying to sell the project to investors apparently.

So, job done or epic failure?

Wonder is this is a case of arse covering related to the stadium spy shenanigans?

What with us being de-listed from the stock exchange, perhaps Levy wants a more hands on approach in terms of how our brand is marketed in view of sponsorship and funding for the NDP.

Or a complete coincidence.

He only joined us 13 months ago, perhaps with a view to providing some sway in the Olympic Stadium tender process last year - he was part of the official 2012 commercial team prior to joining us.

The end of POTL?

Barber's were always going to be big shoes to fill and Wijeratna doesn't seemed to have stamped much authority on the role.

Paul Barber just resigned from his CEO position of the Whitecaps out here in Vancouver. 2 + 2 = ...?

The Whitecaps also recently sign our mate Leapy. I think Barber left after that.

And isn't POTL Lennon's mate?

Don't know. Wijeratna has had something to do with QPR previously, as POTL has also admitted.

It's a shared account used by the marketing department IMO. The tone changed and all the cryptics started when Wijeratna took over as the prime user of it.

fuck me to tears.

Forget Bergerac, Sherlock Holmes, Dangermouse etc we have Dan and Steve to do our detective work.

Knowing how Paul Robinson is irl, I wouldn't be surprised if Robbofan was actually Paul Robinson himself.
