The numbers can very well be correct. Without more info about how/what they actually measured, it is hard to know.

The numbers for Bolt you are referring to, are completely useless in this context. His top speed, the absolute fastest he can run once his body really get's going, is approx 28mph.

Thus, 20mph as measured over a certain distance & for instance w/ ball doesn't sound too far fetched to me. In fact, from what I've seen from the stands, Eriksen has indeed the ability to be quick with the ball at his feet.

Then again, they might very well have measured loads of other things, too. Eriksen may very well be the 11 fastest at something, we just don't know exactly what, and that's the flaw of the article.

It's sad, because when I was younger, I could easily keep up with the mph quoted in the article. I just sucked at most other things, inclusive of raw technique and failing corners... Come to think of it, I would have made the perfect Spurs player

I'd be willing to bet good money that Dier, Walker, Chiriches, Yedlin, Kaboul, Townsend, Lloris & Lennon are all faster than Eriksen.
