Not that I want Cirprica or rate him that highly, but Flamini was available for long too and he is decent player. Unless you've top offer on the table, why rush if you're free agent?

Lufti....previous Schalke player...what's he like?

He's actually not even bad to be honest. He had to fill in as a Huntelaar replacement last year, and perhaps because Hunter was so good Marica didn't look great, but as a squad player who would only come on at the end of games, play in league cup games and cover for injured in players it wouldn't be a bad signing, especially not on a free. Win win really. Holds the ball up well and is strong in the air so he's something different to what we have with the other three.

Heck, if he helps Chiriches to settle in then I hope we do sign him. Here's a vid of a few of his goals, I know youtube videos can make anyone look good, but he shows a bit of strength and technique here:

Bring him in, at least he will have something to offer in Europa League, League Cup perhaps. Ade obviously isnt going to feature for quite some time if at all so a 3rd striker, at an acceptable level to lead the line, would be beneficial.

Okay, Marica should be slightly better but it is such an underwhelming player to have. It wouldn't be fair to Kane.

I honestly don't think Kane could match Marica's stats from last season in the championship let alone the Bundesliga - and his stats aren't even that impressive. Kane has got a long way to go if he's going to make it in the premiership imo
