Not so much for the qualifier but WHEN we hit the group stages.

Is it going to be difficult to get tickets to away matches? I am a lilywhite international member, and would be keen for a bit of a European adventure...

Anyone have an idea on the process and what not ?

Will be very hard to get tickets unless you are a die-hard (as measured by loyalty points) supporter.

Just get a flight out there and get a ticket from a ****officical ticket outlet****

What about home games? Do the season ticket holders have any european tickets included, or will there be a lot of tickets available?

I think i read we get the first two cup games free, regardless of the competition. So i imagine the home tie vs Young Boys will be free for ST holders..

I seem to recall the two free games are at the clubs discretion.

Still, I'm signed up for the cup guarantee scheme, so ultimately I will be there IF WE BEAT YOUNG BOYS.

That sounds wrong.

As for the away games, lilywhite members will have no chance.

This is true, the first game will be part of the ST, then hopefully if we make it through, the first home game in the Group Stage will be, but knowing our luck we'll get a wanky CC game at home in the 3rd round against Torquay and that will count as the second game.

Regarding getting tickets for the home games, there is a slight issue that the CL uses bigger Advertising boards so some of the ST holders will need to be relocated to other parts of the ground, which will then in turn mean that there are less tickets available for members and General Sale.

So is ground capacity lower?

Ahh I'd love to go to this, Spurs' first CL game at the Lane, brilliant.

Shame it looks slim since I'm not a member.

I would imagine that every away champions league game would go to season ticket holders with over 300 loyalty points.

It obviously depends on ground capacity, location/who we are playing, but I would imagine demand would be huge for every away game.

We tended to travel very well in the Uefa Cup, can't imagine our first stint at the top table, if we get there, would be any different.

I am sure I read small print before the CL isnt included in those first two cup games. ST holders will have a chance to buy their seat but that is all.

Away, you have to be talking ST holder with 250/300 points.

Question 17 from the Ticketing FAQs section of the offical website

One Hotspur Silver, Gold and Platinum Members are given guaranteed admission for all 19 Premier League matches played at White Hart Lane, plus the first two home Cup-Ties played in either domestic or european cup competitions (excluding Champions League, if applicable) to be determined at the Club's discretion

I didn't really get the blurb with the ST-wasn't sure if the play off game was included.

Then, I'm not the brightest.

Just as another heads up, I did the WHL tour back in June and was told that for all Champions League games, UEFA take 6000 tickets for their "footballing family" ! There aint gonna be many going spare at all !

As with any game, the chances of you getting a ticket depend on how much demand there is and how many tickets are available. For an away game in the CL there aren't going to be many tickets and there's going to be a lot of demand so you'd need a lot of points to get one. I'd be surprised if a non-ST holder can get one.

If you're going to apply, make it against the least glamorous side, preferably in some part of Eastern Europe no one knew about until 10 years ago. A lot of people won't fancy treking to Russia or Romania

A dream group would probably be Bayern Munich, Benfica and FC Twente or Copenhagen

thanks for the link 62 (BTW i remember seeing spurs on the TV v benfica and dukla prague in 62 in our previous 'CL' campaign)

i won't have enough loyalty points (despite 50 years support :) for the away tkts thru spurs

just depends how expensive the travel packages are - but i might treat myself :)

for sure i'm determined to go to one of the games as have seen five out of six of the major competitions live at WHL (most of them away too, except the cup wnners cup) so need one of these games for six out of six :)
