Liverpool are usually held up as the example of the way we/ENIC should be going about things, so I have some questions: If/when they (once again) finish the season empty handed, will all the spending have been worth it? Will their fans have had any more fun than ours did in 15/16 and 16/17? Where would they go next, given that their spending last summer was largely based on the huge profit they made on transfers the year before?
It's not a comparison I've ever made (that I can recall) I guess I'd want to know what they've won while ENIC have been in charge before deciding and even then one would have to weigh up how going for it 'Liverpool style' and failing or not going for it ENIC style compare.Liverpool are usually held up as the example of the way we/ENIC should be going about things, so I have some questions: If/when they (once again) finish the season empty handed, will all the spending have been worth it? Well I certainly hope we find a partner because prioritising stadium funding over your playing staff is one thing, but using that money to fund a housing development is quite another.
I have a feeling the hotel will be shelved and they might go more for service apartments. I just don’t see the viability of a 4/5 star hotel in Tottenham.
It would definitely be best for fans to reign in any expectations on that front.I think we reading too much into THST transcripts. It's more of a goodwill thing with the club.
No way would Levy tell them we were going to to do net spend knowing it would upset our players on future spending or say it's £150m plus sales cos that will inflate prices at other clubs.
I think some are believing Eriksen is as good as gone and of that is the case we will be buying £150m-ish worth of players before announcing.

This is what cost Arsenal and one of the major differences between our build and theirs that rarely gets mentioned. They totally over extended themselves doing the Highbury property development at the same time. They had to extend the bank facility half way through due to spiralling costs. £145m plus €105m from the Champions League. I hope we don’t sell Eriksen and Toby but, assuming we do that’s another £125m on top, plus Marc day revenues etc.
Bumper season for the club!
Doubt we made much profit at Wembley, and don’t forget there will be some big bonuses going out if we win the CL
Wouldn’t like to be around when you check your bank account mate lol. 18/19 will undoubtedly be our best ever revenue season. 17/18 was £380m. And even though we lost a bit at Wembley due to low gates that was compensated by fact ST went up on average 20%. With gate receipts the CL could be as much as an extra £50m from last season. I’ll be surprised if revenue isn’t north of £450m for 18/19.

You might want to take into account 50%+ of season ticket money was refunded due to people reclaiming and a higher rent. We only had 7 out of a possible 25 games at home and paid more in rent.
Delays cost a fortune
