No not Juande, not our 'creative' midfield, not our board, not our coaches, not our canteen staff, and not the guy who mows the training ground...

Me. I am absolutely at a loss. I have been supporting the team and defending the guys against the vitriol being spouted on here. I have been convinced that although we hadnt started well things would turn around, and soon.

But even though we have had 2 stone wall pens not given in the last two league games which may have influenced the result, we have been absolutely headless our performances.

Exasperation, bewilderment, not quite resignation to our fate just yet, but I have no idea whats going on...

Please Football Gods, Save Our Spurs !!

We have had most of the possession in our games but have created alarmingly low amounts of chances - thats the problem...creativity or the lack of!

I do wonder if the players want Ramos out, something has to account for the fact we are totally useless. That is probably me searching for an excuse when I shouldn't and don't want to be.

There was an interesting comment from Defoe before the game, where he was basically saying a lot of his old Spurs playing mates, were sick of Spurs being a selling club and wondered where we are heading. On the evidence so far in could be the Championship.

Things are obviously not good at Spurs at the moment, I personally don't know what, but something very clearly stinks.

I'm just going to copy my response from the "Lacklustre display, are we leaving it on the training pitch?" thread.

We do look lacklustre/clueless (delete as applicable) but to me it's not down to fitness. We've gone from a very direct attacking ethos to a more patient passing but our passing never seems to have a purpose. We lack drive. We don't want to take the game to the opposition, we don't seem to have any ability to break teams down and we don't look like scoring.

I think the personel was the problem yesterday. We played 3 very similar midfielders and they became a bottleneck for us. They got the ball and passes it between themselves and the defence but didn't have the ability to find a forward ball. I'm not blaming the players themselves. Surely we should have played Huddlesstone, GDS or Modric in midfield just to give us something different and offer a creative spark. The same can be said of starting Gilberto ahread of Lennon.

Maybe it's down to a lack of leadership on the pitch. Maybe the players are scared to try things in case they make mistakes. Maybe it's down to Ramos tactics or teamtalk. I think InOffMyLeftShins thread contains some good arguments for going on the offensive.

Its down to Ramos and his selections and his style of play. And its down to the not signing the right personnel.

it's almost certainly a combination of factors some of which as fans we can easily identify

is there anyone for example that thinks gilberto is up to prem standard

but there are lots of factors we don't know

What says it all for me at the moment is when you look at the match thread for the next game, and everyone has a different lineup. There is so many combinations of a team, yet when the official teamsheet is released, its another completely different team. That says it all for me. We have absolutely no idea who our best 11 is and what our best formation is.

Clueless you say? aren't we all.

We need to attack in numbers. One up top would be fine if Jenas, Bentley and Lennon supported better. As neither of them seem to do so until after our hourly change, I'd suspect it is Ramos' overly cautious instructions.

(And stop picking Dawson!)

We are dominating games but doing nothing with the ball, we seem to lack ideas and end up throwing endless balls into the channels and into the box and winning zero headers.

When all our players are fit (which they have been), creativity should not be a problem. We have to pick 4 from Modric, Bentley, jenas, Lennon and GDS and they should have enough quality to create chances for Bent and each other. I don't get whats going on, as you say......im clueless!

Well he was spot on when he said he thought Spurs would find it difficult without Keane and Berbatov .

Was JD talking to Sky ? BBC ? , know where theres a copy of the article ?

The players are investing the best years of their short career and have got to keep the momentum going . They don't get chance after chance like the board or management .

Heck I feel betrayed and all thats riding on it for me is the season ticket and time .
