Looking at the current squad, I think it's possible we could field an all British team at some point next season...

...............Robinson.............
Hutton...King....Woodgate...Bale
Lennon..Jenas...Huddlestone..O'Hara/Rose
...........Keane...Bent........

Surely it's not out of the question?

I'll be honest...I don't think we'll ever see King and Woodgate play together, let alone see 10 British players and Keano on the pitch together.

Why Does Everyone Think Kean Is British??? He's Fucking Irish!

Its a commonly held misconception based I assume on the fact that Northen Ireland is part of the United Kingdom and peoples failure to comprehend what the term Republic means.

There is a reason why no British sides are at the Euros this summer, as a group of nations we are not good enough, forget this crap about Spurs being British, Ramos will buy quality players from wherever, as it should be.

It does make me feel proud the amount of english talented players we have in the squad. And with the non-brittish players i feel we have the right blend.

Ah yes Keane may be Irish but Ireland is part of the british Isles, not Britain but British Isles, I know they may not see it that way in Ireland but it is nevertheless so.

I guess the question could be "could we see an all Islands of the north atlantic Spurs next year" but it doesn't roll of the tongue does it.

It's because Irish immigrants are in no way treated the same way as other immigrants. Just about everyone seems to have some sort of Irish connection - especially in Liverpool or Manchester. How many times have you heard 'my grandads irish'? A Dubliner living in London is not even considered a foreigner whereas someone from Paris living in London most certainly is... even though Paris is closer

But the term British, is mainly used to represent the people of the United Kingdom and not the British Isles. Last time I checked Ireland was not part of the United Kingdom. So in this instance the post start is wrong to say Keane could play in an all British team.
