Very true. It triggers the thought in me that Skipp and Veliz are battling each other for that spot because Hojbjerg, Skipp, Bentancur, and Lo Celso all on the bench just seems excessive midfield for me.

Veliz is already ahead of schedule so it's not a bad thing for him that he misses from the bench.
Doesn't bother me either that we are missing a FW. If Son goes off Richy can slot there; hopefully if that happens we would already be leading.

I’m a massive critic of Richarlison but even I’ll admit that his pressing was immense against Fulham. He also put in a couple of dangerous balls.

His finishing is woeful but he has other useful qualities.
