He’s just not a very special player. It’s all good.

He had an extremely unique almost innate connection with Eriksen in terms of timing runs, and playing in probably a top 2 or 3 best pressing side in Europe for 3 years suited him to a T. What he really excelled at was the mini transition and being able to time runs off of Kane and Eriksen to cause havoc. We don’t really play that way anymore and he always had issues vs. packed boxes or being the main playmaker.

to me the real issue with Dele’s game is he’s slower with less energy. Part of that is confidence but he lost a half a step, and that was his game - having half a step on his defender. He’s just not an inventive or creative passer, and does his best work with instinctive one-touch football. He is still good in Europa but that yard of pace is severely missed right now.

I think CM will be Winks and Lo Celso with Alli a bit further forward. Be interesting to see if he plays a bit deeper like Ndombele has, though.

Didn’t think his effort or passes were too bad. But he fluffed 3 opportunities with wrong decisions and looked to be gassed by the end of the half. You can’t win with a player like that in the center of your attack. It still looks like he has no clue how to play vs a packed defense either.
Think his time with us will be coming to an end in the next 12 months or so.

When he was playing really well he had a great understanding with Harry and Eriksen - he doesn't appear to have that with anyone at the moment. He's looking to pass it on and it's just never on, he then holds on to it too long or looks to make a pass that isn't on.

Something clearly not right with this young man and I’m starting to question his mental health and general well being.

he seems to have an addictive personality and if the rumours are true about him struggling to sleep etc I think we need send him off somewhere to change his habits.

He had a couple of easy passes to put players in during the first 20 minutes and just didn’t see the pass. Then spent the rest of the half coasting. I’ve backed him since he’s been here but enough is enough. These last few weeks have shown it’s time to let him go.

The one that annoyed me was the one in the first half where bale was in it was so deliberate not to pass to bale it looked almost petulant “I’m not letting you have your glory” kind of attitude or I’m not passing to you as if you score I deffo don’t start.
