Similar to Jesse Lingaard who has gone right off the boil. Not that he was as good as Alli. Strangely enough, both of them have been involved with their own clothing ranges.
If Alli doesn’t play off the front man I don’t see a position for him with us or England.
I think his England squad place is definitely in jeopardy as they seem to stick to 4-3-3 and his only place there is on the left of a midfield 3, Barkley currently has this position but Alli not really suited to it and there are others likely to take that place.
How Barkley has started 7 out of last 10 England games beats me.
I do get snippets from time to time re Dele. My mate who used to play with him at MK, was at an MK Dons game with him the other week during international break. Dele said this is this 4th injury in the same hamstring and he knows he hasn't been fully fit for the last 12 months. He also said whilst the money has been great, re sponsorship deals outside of football, he knows this may have played a part in him getting injured. Due to having to travel to X,Y,Z on his days off, rather than just chilling and he wants to cut down on all of that stuff outside of football. Nothing groundbreaking I know, but thought I'd pass on.
When you say ‘we’ you mean our next manager, don’t you? Coz Poch ain’t doin’ it.Firstly he needs to get himself fit, look after himself, which it seems is his new agenda - good lad.
Then we need to play him where he’s been best, which is off of Kane, no two ways about it. Whether that’s drifting in from the left, right, or centrally, we need him in there causing havoc. He’s a real talent, and we should be doing all we can to prise that out of him.
He needs to. I saw him eating beans on toast in one of the photos and I nearly lost my mind, very energy dense but also lots of sugar, surely we can provide our players with some alternatives other than Heinz on white breadWhat I mentioned the other week.

Wow the drop off in support towards Dele Alli is surprising it’s an eye opener for me definitely. From my point of view he needs to get up to speed with fitness and form unfortunately hes in that position whereby people ain’t prepared to be patient with him and is running the gauntlet at the minute.
It was good he didn’t make the England squad he really needs the time to get himself together.
No doubt a fit on form Alli is a massive asset
Really appreciate this info thanks for it.
I'm behind dele 100%, I think that the past 18 months has had many factors in his decline, the injuries, position change and also the interests outside of football.
I think hes a fantastic player though, I think that he's perfect in a 4231 close to the striker as evidenced by his best season for us when Eriksen would occupy the right and dele would be close to Kane. I really want him to get past this difficult period and remind everybody what hes capable of and Im backing him 100% to come good. Theres no better big game player than dele for us.
You only need to look at a highlights reel of his goals and assists when he was flying. He won us so many games with goals, even when his all round game wasn't spot on.
He's always had problems with his hamstrings. When he joined us he used to wear that support tape on his legs so I think we really need to manage him properly and glad we are.
In a big game there's nobody I would trust more in this squad than him and that includes Kane. He's proved it so many times and it seems to have been somewhat forgotten.
We need his fight in the team. We'll be a better team for it. He needs a run of games, not put in and out and let him find his way back to enjoying football again.
