Sevilla winger Diego Perotti has confirmed his interest in a possible move to Tottenham in the January transfer window.
Spurs have been strongly linked with a bid for the 25-year-old in recent weeks, with Andre Villas-Boas a known admirer of the player.
And it’s looking increasingly likely that Villas-Boas will get his man, with the Perotti confirming his interest in moving to the Premier League.
‘A transfer is definitely possible in the winter market,’ he told the Spanish media when asked about links to English football.
‘I’ve not been playing well recently and I need to find my best form, but something could happen.’
It’s thought that Spurs are willing to pay up to £8million to sign Perotti, who was previously linked with Arsenal and AC Milan.
The Argentine international has had a serious of injury problems in recent months, but is still rated as one of the best wideman in La Liga.
