Luton 2-0 up at Halftime
agg 3-2
agg 3-2
Sunderland were good last game. But Luton pressed like a pl team at times. Really likes the look of Ekwah as well for Sunderland. Covered a lot of ground quickly and showed a great capability to play great balls under pressure. One to watch.luton in the premier league would be amazing. also, sunderland needed another year - i think they'll be really good next year.
Luton going back up would be a real nostalgia fest. Memories of that plastic pitch.
I didn't realise it was that small. It's an unusual ground - access to one of the stands is through the back of houses isn't it.I hope they do it. Their stadium holds 10k and at a guess, would have to be the smallest capacity stadium in PL history? Even the Vitality holds 11k!
And he started playing for them in the National League. 5 tiers for one club is insane.Learned today that if Luton gets promoted, Mpanzu will be the first ever player to be promoted to League 2, League 1, Championship and PL for the same club. What a journey.
I played on that pitch back in the day (goalkeeper). It was an absolute nightmareLuton going back up would be a real nostalgia fest. Memories of that plastic pitch.

I believe that's @scat1620's house... That's going to put a right dent in his valuation.
Don't forget the B&Q budget greenhouse row of Corporate Boxes opposite the main stand!I didn't realise it was that small. It's an unusual ground - access to one of the stands is through the back of houses isn't it.
Oh - professionally? Either way, that's really cool. I assume that you wore tracksuit bottoms?I played on that pitch back in the day (goalkeeper). It was an absolute nightmare
No, just at youth level back in the mid-80's (my local team as a Harpenden boy). Tracksuit bottoms were a must but the bounce on the surface was so unpredictable.Oh - professionally? Either way, that's really cool. I assume that you wore tracksuit bottoms?
I know what you mean - he was a good manager and has always stepped in when needed. No, just at youth level back in the mid-80's (my local team as a Harpenden boy). Tracksuit bottoms were a must but the bounce on the surface was so unpredictable.
* edit. On a related point I met David Pleat a few times back then. I know he is an easy target for some fans but he was/is a genuinely good guy and someone I am really happy to be assoiated with Spurs.
