Emerson Royal’s father, who also acts as his agent, has dismissed talk of a move away from Tottenham this summer. The Brazilian fullback joined Spurs in a €25m deal from Barcelona in August last year and went on to make 40 appearances in all competitions last season.

The entire situation with the wingbacks is a bit weird. We have Emerson, Doherty, Perisic, Sessegnon, Reguilon, coverage from Davies and Tanganga, looking likely to sign Spence and still being linked with Udogie and Raum.

If Athletico are interested in him (and LoCelso), maybe that would open up a possibility of Joao Felix for us. They're apparently happy to let him go. Maybe a move here would give him a bit of breathing space (like Kulusevski).
