Right now I can't see any hope all the while rumpelstiltskin is at the club and I can't see any way he leaves any time soon. This isn't like going shopping, where people will switch from one supermarket chain to another because they don't like something. We're prisoners of our allegiance and he knows it. He could curl one out on your wifes chest and strangle your puppy and you'll still turn up and pay for the privilege. We're in a deep pit of shit and drowning. It's all so so constantly negative :(

Ah well.............
There was talk that he was summoned to meet Lewis in the summer (could be misremembering but I think you mentioned it as well). Is there any hope that things might not be too rosy between Lewis and him?

IIRC the meeting was seen as unusual but anything after that was speculation.

Fair enough, trying to find any kind of possibility for optimism because we aren't going to be sold so a midget tiff between the two of them is our only realistic chance for change

not selling kane is just as bad a decision as it was to hire this fraud Nuno.

Fuck you Enic. Fuck you Levy.

your destroying the soul of this club.
I wouldn't blame Levy for not selling Kane. He stood up for Spurs and every other club when it comes to being bullied and accepting their terms. Why should he do that? There are a squillion things wrong at the club and most of them can be traced back to him, but this isn't one of them IMO.

It's why im now wrestling with the decision whether to stop following or not. I can't keep making alterations to the way I go about living my life in the hope Tottenham might put in a good performance or look like a team to believe in again. I know this is part of following a team sometimes but I do think us spurs fans give more than we get.

I'm becoming apathetic with the club and its leadership, sick and tired of being led down a path that ultimately leads nowhere.

I mean if Levy couldn't take advantage of the platform Poch had elevated us to and wasn't prepared to push on then, what's the point? Tells me all I need to know. We are basically following in the hope Levy and ENIC see the sense in making this team succesful on the pitch.

I've been a big defender of Levy overall, whilst criticising him at certain times, but there is literally no defending his management of the last few years.

We've gone from a team that could have been on the verge of a title...on the verge of a literal Champions League...and we are now genuinely a worse squad than Everton, Leicester and West Ham.

Jose was crap.

Nuno seems to be crap.

But someone has to carry the can for those decisions.

And it's Levy.

Yes it is. But I suspect if there's any sort of venting at the next couple of home games it'll be Nuno wearing the kevlar. Which is a shame as he's just the patsy in all this.

Well don't forget it was Paratici decision to hire a defensive manager even though we were told we'd be going back to what we're known for so I'm sure he'll cop some flack too and I'm pretty sure he hired himself and failed to instruct himself to work within the criteria of what was laid out to the fans.

Until they are gone we will never be the club that many of us would like us to be. That wee bauldy prick’s track record at hiring managers is fecking embarrassing! All that pish he spouted about the clubs style of play etc in the close season and we’re still watching a bunch of clueless idiots waltzing around the park without a fuck given and no style or improvement. Heads should be rolling for this but he’s never gonna hold his hands up and say “I’m a massive part of this shitshow”

There are two very public faces or targets in all this and he isn't one of them. It'll be Nuno who cops the brunt.

And as for who hired who, I don't believe for one minute Levy wasn't as involved in that as he was the Traore thing. Paratici is a patsy in all this, just like Nuno, there are degrees of blame for sure but not enough to make them the actual targets of anything, they've been at the club five minutes and relatively speaking have done fuck all wrong, this has been going in one direction way before they arrived. People will vent at those two for fuck-all reasons in the grand scheme but it's the architect of it all who needs to be held accountable.

we all know he's teflon though, and whatever we do or say, he'll live to do this exact shit again another day.

the way nuno has us playing is unacceptable and he needs to go, but i doubt there are many who don't see the bigger picture and that levy is the root of all of this.

Sorry I think my sarcasm wasnt clear enough, im saying paratici didnt hire himself and its clear where all the ire should go and it's at Levy. He said one thing then made hires that went the complete opposite direction. It's all on him as far as I'm concerned. Sure Nuno and Paratici could improve here and there but any failure of theirs is on Levy for me.

I'm not so sure on that. Levy is the constant in the current trajectory and, let's call it for what it is, total shitshow on the pitch and in the dugout. The fans aren't stupid. Unfortunately, venting at the rightful target is also futile. Sigh. He won't care in the slightest.

Looking back on recent years it has been utterly incompetent on the footballing side, especially since the stadium build started.

Lucking out with Poch and Kane kept our upwards trajectory in spite of Levy's antics. Without Poch they have been laid bare.

We earned a seat at the top table on and off the pitch and are now being outperformed by clubs with lesser resources with us. There are no excuses.

In any other industry he would have to go.
