Ralf Rangnick, just saying. Would revolunise us and actually have a plan top to bottom.
To clarify, as a DOF.

No wonder Juventus pushed for ESL so hard. Perez is probably burying some books in Madrid right now.Sky Sports reporting Paratici’s ban is in Italy but suggesting it should be extended to include all FIFA and UEFA events.

Tbh this is actually a chance for Levy to reset things properly. If it’s a world wide ban we’ll ditch him i would think. Not going to keep him on the payroll all that time doing nothing. I’m scared Hitchen will be back.

I like Paratici but we could now hire a DofF who wants to build a recruitment process to play a modern style of pressing, aggressive, possession based attacking football and hire managers to fit that.
Id go for Rangnick as DofF and let him pick the manager.
Full full reset more in-line with the type of football that our fans want to see.
It won’t happen but right now it could actually be an opportunity if dealt with correctly.

Oh yea completely agree mate just thought I’d throw a scenario out there that could be actioned if we were run by someone who understood what it takes for football success, but alas the new DofF search will probably take 2 years meanwhile David pleat will be back and after the 2 years Hitchen will be re-hired ?Love the enthusiasm mate but its all a complete waste of time with Levy there. DoF in, DoF out, Interfere with manager, new DoF in, DoF out. Its a boring cycle.
His position absolutely is untenable and if Conte walks because of it then he would be behaving like a kid.Think Paratici position is untenable, and Conte will walk if he goes.
Absolute mess and a shame.
As a director of football, rather than as manager.Ralf Rangnick, just saying. Would revolunise us and actually have a plan top to bottom.
Yeah Rangnick or Edwards would be amazing DoFsAs a director of football, rather than as manager.
This anti-levy agenda is absolutely fine, he definitely deserves it to some extent, but the idea that Conte is without blame that some prominent members on here are constantly regurgitating is beyond ridiculous. The point was to highlight that if coach is devoid of blame, then we can hire a guy next door to do the job. We are breaking records on goals conceded, look utter tripe on pitch, but some say it has fuck all to do with Conte.
I haven't seen any posts making Conte devoid of blame. And I've seen this line said a few times without example. This anti-levy agenda is absolutely fine, he definitely deserves it to some extent, but the idea that Conte is without blame that some prominent members on here are constantly regurgitating is beyond ridiculous
Without better players it's very difficult to do both of those things. Look at the difference Bentancur's return made to us on Thursday alone.Yes he needs better players, who doesn't, but surely to god anybody with half a brain can see that if you a) don't press the ball, b) don't retain the ball that you are c) very f*cked!
It worked really well for us from February on last season. So the suggestion that it doesn't work is false. We beat City away last season, we drew with Liverpool twice last season. We battered Arsenal last season. Unfortunately key players have regressed beyond anything we could have expected this season and its effecting more of our players performances.Contes "system" does not work any more. So many teams press now that unless you have highly technical players that can play through it you are going to be under constant pressure.
Again, it worked last season, especially when we had everyone fit.You either press the living shit out of the ball or you keep the ball from the opposition as much as possible. Those are your options at the highest level in modern football. You don't need to be a 'serial winner' to work that out!
The old "let's not press the ball, let's not keep the ball, let's concede the territory, let's not have any creative players and let's always be outnumbered in central midfield" tactic clearly DOES NOT WORK!
Getting rid of the manager only works if you do the first part and do it properly, which under Levy we never have done to the extent we need to do it now. And as has been pointed out by Trix, a new manager is going to be asked to maintain and assess the current squad, while re-integrating those on loan or on the periphery. So yes, let's get rid of some shit players and get some better ones, but let's also get a manager that sends his players out in a formation and with tactics that actually have some hope of winning football matches in 2023 not 2016!
They have philosophy that Conte doesn't fit in to.Yeah Rangnick or Edwards would be amazing DoFs
People imply that Conte is blameless by making every excuse for him. We have bought players and he has refused to play them. We have aldo had all of our players fit at points this season and have still been dreadful.I haven't seen any posts making Conte devoid of blame. And I've seen this line said a few times without example.

The main issue at this club is not the manager.
That's because it's bullshit.I haven't seen any posts making Conte devoid of blame. And I've seen this line said a few times without example.
