Except the slew of articles in big newspapers saying the players expect him to leave soon and rumblings of unrest in the dressing room?

That's a big sign he could be on his way this week IMO. We've seen this type of the thing in the news cycle countless times before just before previous managers got axed.

I want any player going to the board to tell them to remove the manager sold. Irrespective of Conte that is the type of behaviour that makes our squad so unmanageable.

That's all good and well, but happens all the time, not just the players. Wasn't Jose in Levys ear telling him he can win trophies with Pochs team?

If he's going to leave before the end of the season, then it will happen in the next few days IMO.

Otherwise, he'll most likely stay until his contract expires.

He’s due back tomorrow. If it happens, it will happen then you would think or if we lose to Everton, then the day after that. They aren’t going to let him restart the week’s training tomorrow unless he is staying.

I am in the Conte was spot on camp with his rant. The standout (my view) lack of commitment mixed with throwing it away this season: Nottingham Forest (League Cup), Sheffield United (FA Cup), AC Milan (CL), Arsenal (PL home & away), Villa (PL home), Southampton (PL away), Leicester (PL away), Wolves (PL away - 2nd half especially).

There are obviously more examples this season, I am just so bored of it and many more from previous years. Europa League 2020/21: the mentality was woeful. FA Cup exits year on year losing to Middlesbrough, Norwich City. Mura in the Conference League and Rennes away too. There’s just too many games where the attitude is poor thinking they’re too good.

Also with the more experienced group who’ve been a part of Poch, Jose and Nuno tenures he may be referring to the likes of this season, especially, Dier, Son, Sanchez. I know he referred to all of them loosely but I reckon he knows that the fans have long realised it’s the same culprits over and over again. Also a huge dose of saying he is more or less done. I’ve been saying it for months he just needs to go back to Italy with his family.

I don't really agree with this season's examples, since I think many of these performances have been down to us, through tactics, inviting the opposition to put us under pressure. I also have trouble digesting it since Conte is the one constantly selecting players like Dier and Son.

And for the last two games he has benched Kulusevski, one of the top-runners in the league with the most pressures. Not saying I think Deki should have been in the starting 11, but for the sake of Conte's argument it's a terrible look to bench the on paper least selfish player in the team.

As I said, I'm not in agreement with you, but thanks for giving some concrete examples. I can certainly understand the point of view.

Not sure if he was saying that before Poch got fired, but that was his pitch for the job. Of course, once he actually started working with them, he realised that he was wrong.

"After the money spent last summer and in January, this is his team playing his style. It is an inconvenient truth for Conte that he has been given greater resources than any other Tottenham manager in history."

Brutal but completely true. Be much more convenient for Conte if he'd been treated the way Poch was but he simply hasn't.

Fans do this weird thing when this sort of situation occurs when they presume that the players they specifically don't like (in this case probably Dier, Davies, Sanchez etc...) are the ones turning against the manager. So the line is 'get these players out' but I bet if we found out which players actually want Conte gone those saying this would change their tune. Its like when we were told by ITK that Kane was actually one of those who believed Poch had to go in 2019. At this point though I'd assume 80% of the squad want him out considering he slammed them publicly and called them all selfish.

What are all of these resources he has been given that? We spent money on Richarlison so I can't argue that one.

Not necessarily, if the club is sensible and feel his position is untenable they should be using the international break to get his replacement. The noise seems to be getting Mason as interim. But even then everything should be lined up. What happened after Mourinho was sacked was frankly a joke. Everything should be sorted and planned.

If he is going to be sacked (and I don't think he should) I would prefer that they get the next permanent manager in place rather than go through the motions with Mason for the remainder of the season.

Gallardo, Poch, Luis Enrique are all currently available. Whether they would take the job at such a crucial stage of the season is another matter but I would feel a lot better about the rest of the season if we had someone in place that we planned to keep long term.

Did you want them sold when Sherwood was here? I'm pretty sure they did it then. Remember Jan looking at him like a piece of shit at Liverpool? I do.

I was at work last night moaning about managers there. It's human nature.

The article basically echoes what many of us have been saying:

- We have spent a considerable amount of money since Conte joined
- He was brought in because he was "winner" yet we limped out of all cup competitions
- We play some really negative football
- He sells out the players to protect his reputation

I think most people can see this from the outside.
