I’ve not been able to face reading the news since Saturday but I understand that Conte has been critical of the team’s tactics and effort.

Has he identified who is responsible for the team’s training, tactical set-up and motivation?

Maureen the tealady. That lazy cow just doesn't have a winning mentality.

Matt law posting a few tweets this evening that kinda ring true to the issues, going back to the Rose/Jose meeting on the Amazon documentary, Rose essentially asking why he isn’t playing and at the end said he is going to speak to Levy about it…

If, and I literally have no idea if it happens, it’s an odd culture to have around the club, where the manager can be undermined by the chairman in that way, and probably goes part of the way why players have it cushty at spurs without being pushed too hard
You get that in all walks of business where a bad egg goes over his line manager’s head, squealing to the head honcho!

The important thing is how the head honcho deals with it.

Rose didn’t get his own way as far as being selected, so I should imagine Levy backed Jose in that regard.

No the trick is to back the right horse with the right players. That's what succeeded with Poch. We had great players with a great man manager. It was never one without the other. It fell apart as the squad got worse. It's a package deal. A great manager might overachieve with a good team but only for so long.
When on limited resources trick is also not to back up the wrong horse.
The players have won elsewhere but so has Conte. Yet again you ignore anything Conte does well because of your agenda. You say the players are good because they've won titles yet Conte is shit but he's also won titles. How the hell does that work?

Just pointing out that this "serial winner" vs. "bunch of losers" doesn't quite hold up.

The team is still incomplete even if another manager comes in. You're only as good as your weakest link and we still haven't addressed ours. So what if 'some' of those players won things elsewhere, they're comfortable here challenging for top 4 and nothing more. Show me the desire and hunger they've shown for Spurs under Conte, Jose, Nuno, Poch at the end.
We've had quite a turnover of players, it you want to throw out Kane and keep Conte then just say so. Blaming this on Sanchez sitting on the stands or Sessegnon on the treatment table is moot point. It even is to blame it on Dier and/or Davies as latter is one of the rare players that have improved under Conte and never lacks in attitude on our dour look runs much deeper than two players on field. They might not even lack in attitude, they might want to perform. But on top level it is about fine margins, it opposition has more joy in their game, they have the edge. If our approach is dour to players, it is managements job to summon the attitude.

Micromanagement on level Cesc described on Conte would be huge red flag on almost any business these days and sure won't have longevity on football either. Tells why he has never been on a job for that long.

Then rose never played again for Jose. I can't remember, but I'm not sure it showed rose talking to Levy.

No issue with a chairman/ceo having an open door, that doesn't mean he undermined Jose.

She's great once she's given the right type of tea

Incapable of doing anything with a PG Tips though
She has never been backed with the right kind of Milk either. She is also so stubborn, she wont change Sugar supplier and wont use the new Kettle Danny bought her because its Smart Price and not Morphy Richards. And dont get her started on the selfishness of the Coffee drinkers.

I already wanted Conte replaced but I don't have a problem with him calling out the players after some of the performances this season. I just think so many of our poor performances have been the result of his tactics as much as any of the players with bad attitudes.

Ultimately Levy is the biggest culprit. He's wasted one of the best attacking lineups we've had by hiring manager after manager that just want to sit back and defend. Our best performances under Levy have come from Redknapp and Poch, two attacking managers who had some great players but could also get the most out of the weaker links.

I do respect and like Conte but he's just not the right fit for us. I hope we bring in someone in the next few weeks who will play on the front foot and try to actually keep possession so our opponents aren't constantly attacking us. If nobody is available until the summer then god help us! We have problems on multiple fronts but for me things will only improve if we first show some sustained attacking intent on the pitch.
