Possibly explains his more subdued demeanour recently, along with the loss of three close friends which have hit him hard. Ultimately he loves football and lives for the game so I hope he can come make a swift recovery and come back renewed to try and end the season well and take it from there. If he does go back to Italy it will be fully understood by the supporters.

I think he will be back relatively quick from this, not a major operation. Back in the dugout for Leicester I think.

Poor guy. What a rough year he's had.

If the players have any stones in them they'll be breaking their backs for him. We'll see what their made of.

Hopefully he comes back refreshed and raring to go. Would love for him to renew but this now really wouldn't be surprising if he went back to Italy.

He could be back at work within 2weeks if has the desire. He's not doing heavy labour and doesn't need to do anything at training except oversee things. I was up and about after 10days when I had my gall bladder removed. Its all about Antonio's desire because as has been said, he's had a shitty past 6months.

At least a positive that Stellini has already been on his own for the Marseille away game and have already taken multiple press conferences without Antonio.

Carrying our hopes and expectations isn't heavy labour?

Perisic can play up top and a front foot coach will ensure Udogie and Porro are used to good effect. Rose and Walker were very attack minded too and made more errors under AVB, who was more conservative than Poch.

Can also have a midfielder drop to screen.
Agree, any high press attacking coach would love them. They would fit Gallardo perfectly for example. Tbh tho I have a suspicion that we will go for Amorim if Conte goes, especially if QSI come in. Ether way I don’t see Conte stay but I guess let’s see what the rest of the season holds.

Get well soon Antonio, obviously horrible but maybe a couple weeks in Italy with the family might just be what he needs. Hopefully comes back with real fire in his belly.
(or he likes it so much he doesn’t bother coming back)

Trouble Is if he goes home he won't want to come back, and I wouldn't blame him because this club destroys everyone Mourinho,Poch, Conte, Kane the list goes on. The common link is Levy & ENIC!!!

No matter what, might seem a bit delusional especially with the various shenanigans at the club of late, but I feel we can win the FA cup and even give it a go in the CL. I feel this may be a send off from Conte: this is all I can do. With staying in a hotel, three of his close friends passing away and family being in Italy he will go in the summer.
