Even more heartbreaking to have the game turned by Dembele being outmuscled in possession for what felt like the first time.Reallt thought we were going to win it in 2017/18 season as we had a kind run and thought we'd be able to cruise past United.
That's the last time I really recall us having a brilliant chance to win it.
That's a great find. Thanks for sharing!Nice look back at our tie with Marine from 2021 from Marine's perspective... (Free to read)

I have no idea who that is or who he played for before checking the scores.Red card for Joao Gomes in the 9th minute!
And the ref has circular cards too! Always an amusing anomaly.
Thought the Portuguese name would be the big clue...I have no idea who that is or who he played for before checking the scores.
Also not a red card for me.
The Wolves player's mistake is that he goes for a ball he is not able to reach but he is at a standstill. Stepping on the backheel unintentionally happens in most games, but shouldn't be a red card unless it is excessive force IMO.
4th round is around 27th Jan. So replays need to be before. And if they get through they would have an extra game. Otherwise we would play same amount but we would have our 4th round game closer to our league game v brentford than they would playing and losing the replaySo Brentford have an extra game before we play or is it after not sure when replays take place
You'll like this then:This whole farce of pretending the referees have any option but to do what they're told when looking at the monitor has to stop.
You know that will be overturned on review but because some plum on VAR thinks that was a bit naughty they tell the ref to send him off.
And why were they showing the ref the replay at Benny hill speed?
Studs hit the ankle or Achilles during tackles all the time. Normally it's a yellow. Force wasn't excessive, no extended leg, and was low on the foot. That would normally indicate a yellow except for the severity of the injury. We will never know, but the injury is what has prompted the red imo.Surprised a few of you think that's not red. Studs into the back of the ankle or Achilles with decent force. Could easily tear a ligament or the Achilles. I thought it was a nailed on red and was impressed the ref gave it live in the 9th minute.
I’d (ironically) Keegan love it if they can but it’s quite an ask.I really fancy Sunderland to turn Newcastle over today
