I am really struggling from a logistical and a public perceptive point of view to see how Fabio keeps his job in the medium term ( if he is not permitted from performing his duties legally in any case).
I have been really impressed with a lot of what he does and he does make me think that the director of football role or sporting director role can be huge at a club but I cannot see how this current situation means he stays in the role for the long term.

Agree, that was the most interesting part of it for me. It’s an official interview by the club, he was never going to say anything truly insightful. But the fact we have put that out to me indicates we are standing by him.

Apparently they took it down to edit, because Paratici spoke about Udogie’s right foot by mistake.

Great interview , certainly looks like he has the full backing of the club despite the allegations in Italy.
Liked the way he avoided naming a future star in the academy unlike Poch who later regretted what he said about Edwards.
Still do not understand as this investigation has been going on for a long time in Italy , why still no criminal proceedings if as alleged he contravened Italy's tax laws.
If this remains a sporting ban only and is extended to all of Europe then can see this going to CAS.

I don't understand this comment. We signed two players.

Who did Man City sign?

Newcastle signed 1 player. Arsenal signed a raw defender, a slow centre mid who will struggle in a high pressing team, and a winger who has only had 18 good months in his entire career?

Chelsea are just throwing money around with no real plan.

Not saying we had an amazing window, but basically every single team except for Chelsea did pretty underwhelming business.

If you want to slag of Levy and ENIC fine but the narrative that we're always terrible in the market and every other club gets all their first choice players is lazy. Unless you're willing to pay well over the odds and offering silly contracts then no deal is simple and even clubs like Madrid and United often don't get their first choice picks and/or have long transfer sagas that drag on for months and sometimes years.

We've overall done above average business under Paratici. The only major complaints I have are not signing a CB (thought we've clearly tried very hard) and dumb club signings like Spence which the manager never wanted. We needed a whole new squad so it was never going to be fixed in 3 windows - there were always still going to be holes in the squad at this stage.

We signed a left winger we didn't need when we should of got a cb or a lb. We got one important player Porro.
Levy done the bare minimum yet the BSODL still defend him, that's why he will never leave to easy a ride.

This combined with saying Man City signed players in the window tells me you're not even trying to engage your brain, just moaning for the sake of it.

Yes, we would have all loved a CB but it's always difficult to get high calibre players half way into the season unless you pay silly money. We're not the kind of team that does that. In fact, only Chelsea do that, and their squad is a mess.

And all this bullshit BSODL or anti-Levy crap needs to stop. This is a forum for fucking debate. If you want binary opinions go and chat shit on Twitter. I'm not about one thing or the other, I just take a balanced and reasoned view point.
