Scum are close to selling deadwood like Kolasinac sokratis torreira for 40m total

They will use that to get Partey

They will sell lacazette and get Auorer

Fuck that's good business

I thought Sokratis was their best centre back available last season? (obviously they’ve now bought in the two younger lads).

And Kolasinac always seemed wrongly managed and underused as seemed a useful attacking left back / wing back?

More or less states that he's only staying because of the release clause.

Wonder whether his heart will be in it next season.
He'll be a free agent next summer no matter what (unless he signs a new deal, unlikely) so we'll have to see, but I think it might be easier for him to give his all in a "farewell season" than it might've been otherwise.

Have a feeling if Bartomeu finally rightfully loses his job this time, Messi will stay. We’ll see.

Messi literally said that the president didn't keep his word about letting him leave if he wants to, and the only reason he's staying is to avoid a court battle against the club he loves.

Sad really. City would have paid £80m or whatever, Messi would have a new challenge, and Barca would be saving £100m+ a year on wages. Instead he's reluctantly staying, and I can't see City buying him when he's nearly 35. Shame, I would love to see him in the PL.
