Don’t think so.
pretty sure he came out of Dinamo Zagreb

we could do a lot of shopping at Leipzig this summer
Gvardiol
Nkunku
Mukiele

all very good players in positions we need
would be amazed if we manage to get any one of these though...

Mukieles contract expires next season and Gvardiol is still in his breakout season so they might still be doable with a bit of perseverance and luck. Absolutely no chance of us signing Nkunku though. He'll be +80m easy and is wanted by every top club in the world I think.
However, it's questionable if Mukiele would be the best choice at RWB as he's not the most attacking player. He's played RCB a bit but that's already covered by Romero.

Yes Mukiele’s strengths aren’t in attack.

For those interested and that can't speak Italian...:ROFLMAO:;)

Conte and Paratici, assault on Toro for Bremer and Singo at Tottenham
The Spurs coach wants both, the budget available is at least 50 million which entice Cairo and scare all the other Serie A clubs

The more the days pass, the more Gleison Bremer becomes a market man. All eyes are on him. With continuous performances as a phenomenon, beyond some uncertainty in the last Roman outing against Lazio, the Brazilian has also made himself known abroad and not only in Italy. With president Cairo, with whom he extended his contract until 2024, he has an agreement: he will be sold to a club of his liking, which plays the Champions League, starting with an offer of 25 million. […] In Italy the defender is of interest to several clubs: Inter, Milan, Napoli and Juventus. All the big names, then. And with the Nerazzurri the negotiations are at an advanced stage. His entourage, in fact, would have found an agreement with Marotta and Ausilio but there is still no agreement between the two companies. And in this context, Antonio Conte's Tottenham has entered strongly and is playing for a place in the Champions League.

Globo Esporte (Brazil's biggest media source) are saying that we are very interested in Bremer but he is expected to go to Inter.

And that Jesus is on our list but it's likely he'll go to Arsenal as they have already discussed and it's advanced.

I think both of those transfers make a lot of sense, both from the players perspective and the clubs.

Knowing how Paratici works he is probably making suggestions to them on how to replace Bastoni should they sell him to us. He did similar with Romero and Demiral.

Agree with this. Knowing Paratici, we may as well be leveraging the Bremer situation to get a better deal on Bastoni.

I don't believe that we're in the market for both Bremer and Bastoni. If you think about it, we'd have Dier, Romero, Bastoni and Bremer (ignoring Sanchez and Davies) as our CBs and out of the 4 one of them will have to sit on the bench. There is no way any one of them will be coming here to do that when fully fit.

That said, we do need a back up for Dier as that is the one position we don't have a rotation option for (assuming Bastoni is nailed on)

I imagine that could be a more experienced type who could be more open to that role.

That said if Dier was out I could see say a Bastoni/Bremer go central with Davies coming back in.

Romero played centre in Italy so would be the obvious choice to cover Dier

Atalantas system is totally different to most 3 at the back systems (Inc Conte's) While Romero could do a job there it doesn't make the best of his skillset and doesn't give him the freedom to move forward.

Let’s just keep Sanchez and Tanganga then and our season will be over if we get a significant injury. Or we could buy Bastoni and Bremer and have 5 CBs competing for 3 positions. Don’t forget we have 5 subs next season plus Romero will easily hit 10 and 15 bookings (he was walking a tightrope this season despite missing 3 months through injury!).

Amazed some people are taking about both - we’ll do well to get one, let alone two

It’s the Vlahovic Martinez debate all over again

That’s the spirit.

it’s also totally different. This is now a summer window. We have significant funds for players. We have a world class manager. We have the best stadium in the world. We have CL football. We have a world class forward line. We should aim high. Really getting fed up with fans saying we shouldn’t be trying to sign top players as we won’t get them. Believe.

When you say 'the Spirit', you mean "let's blindly enthuse over potential incomings, even if I don't feel it's likely"

Look, I would be delighted to get both players - as far as I can tell, they're both great. But we, alongside many other European teams (including Chelsea, Inter, City etc.) are looking for CBs.

Moreover
- it may well be that Bremer arriving at Inter would be a condition of Bastoni leaving
- Chelsea and City may be after Bastoni, which, if we're honest, materially lowers the likelihood of us getting him

So while I can understand why people are discussing the hypotheticals of getting them both, my own perspective is it's unlikely to happen
