I don't see what people's problem is with Arsenal being allowed an emergency loan. They've got four keepers out injured, it's impossible to come up with a squad that can cover that sort of problem. If Gomes, Cudicini, Pletikosa and Alnwick all got injured and we weren't allowed an emergency loan we would all be kicking & shouting about how unfair that is.

I think the main reason most people are making a fuss about this is simply because it's Arsenal. If it was Stoke or Birmingham no one would give a shit.

i've talked to some gooners who openyl admit that this shouldn't be allowed. they are a rich premier league club with registered reserve team goalkeepers, on top of which, almunia is fit anyway.

i know it's standard practice but it shouldn't be allowed for anyone unless you have 0 or 1 fit keepers throughout your entire squad.

Man Shitty only had 2. Hart was stupidly on loan so they shouldn't have been allowed another keeper but luckily it didn't matter

when ever the scum have an injury all you ever hear is that they are out for 1-2 months/will miss the rest of the season etc and then 1 match later they are fit again..i hate it
