Seemed like a lovely fella. Got crushed under the weight of the England job though, like many others since.

Bit shocked, maybe sudden? Seen him on something recently and he looked / sounded well. As others have said seemed a nice guy, enjoyed listening to him as a pundit.

Reports saying it was a heart attack - so very sudden and unexpected. Felt sorry for the guy due to the disgusting treatment he received from the media during his time as England manager and sadly that is how many will remember him.

What a poisoned chalice the England manager position can be and he was treated so harshly.

RIP Graham, 72 too young to go.

Good manager, never real stood a chance with the english media when he took over from darling of the media Robson. He however provided the media with some of the greatest back page headlines in the 90s. Swedes & Turnips was class but I thought the best was Yanks 2 Planks 0.

I thought his handling of Lineker was probably his biggest mistake.

RIP Graham you were very honest.

Robson took just as much shit from the media. If not for Italia 90 it would have been worse!

He always came across as an honest man. What he did with Watford was an incredible feat and one that is often forgotten by our Great British media who did their best to absolutely hammer him.

RIP Graham

One night in Turin is a fantastic film, detailing the run up to Italia 90 and the shit that Robson and the team went through.
