Janssen, Nkoudou and Njie were never going to be superstars but this guy could be. Would love to see us be really bold and try to get him now before he is out of our reach.

I've only seen the Youtube stuff for Diallo (probably like virtually everyone else on here), but what I really like about him is that he seems to have a clear picture of what he's going to do the moment he gets the ball. Whether that's laying it off to someone else, knocking it into space and going after it or making a bit of space for himself, it all seems pretty natural and effortless. He also seems remarkably calm and composed in front of goal. I'd be well happy if we could get him for sensible money, especially if it's true that he'd like to join us.

If anyone hasn’t seen this yet, this is my synopsis. I’m not an avid watcher of ligue 1 bar psg-Lyon or psg-marseille or psg-Lille etc. (I doubt any of us are). What I have done to come up with this is I watched a quickened match/match comp of his best game, one of his worst game (based off of whoscored match ratings), a match where Metz had a lot of the ball (hard to find), and one where they had little of the ball. I also threw in a match where they played Saliba and st etienne, and one recently where he played Gabriel and Lille, cuz fuck arsenal. Note this was done (except v Lille) back a couple weeks ago when we were linked by l’equipe recently. This is because I am familiar with most players we are linked with, but I honestly had no idea about Diallo. I have also learned he came through the same academy in Senegal as mane, and mane also played for metz. Those are very encouraging signs imo.

Not sure if this has been posted in the thread yet but this video makes for some great viewing about 1 minute in. Note the 3-4 times Diallo makes Saliba look like an amateur and gets a goal and assist. Even better because I’m a bit sick of Arsenal fans wanking themselves to death over him.
