We aren't skin flint. Hang on to him even if he wants to leave, I'd rather we have him another year and he goes for free.

His goals are vital and you never know what will happen. If United need a striker in the summer and we refuse Kane a move then they have to go elsewhere.

In the meantime, you never know if we get better or not, or his options become very slimmed down.

It’s slightly embarrassing for a club that’s 140(ish)years old and apparently worth several billion pounds - that I literally feel we are nothing without Kane. When he leaves or, hopefully, retires at Spurs I really struggle to see where I will get my enjoyment/pride from in our club.

The only thing that is a little ray of light is I felt the same with Modric and Bale and even VdV.
We let Walker and Rose go and... oh ok, fk everything lol.

So we finally watch a free kick taker strike the best free kick in years and then is not allowed to take the next one.

Sums the mentality of this club up.

I love Harry, but his insistance on taking freekicks really doesn't reflect well on him. He's literally the worst freekick taker I've ever seen. I bet a good 60-70% of the members on here would have a better record if they took as many as he did. :D

Might be wishful thinking, but I wouldn’t underestimate the family aspects to remaining in London.

A young family settled at pre-school/school, with friends and relatives close by, may prove a big factor in him considering staying at Spurs.

We can hope anyway!

Didn't he have kids when he pushed to go City?

We have become a one man team. The manager dare not leave him out. If he doesn’t perform then the rest of the team don’t. He has to take free kicks even though he is crap, we know it and he should by now.
for the first time ever I think he should leave and we should start again.
Man Utd are quite happy to pay stupid money for a player they want. Every chance of 100m plus.
a lot of people will not like this view but I think it’s time to rehash this team.
no way will he go abroad, he wants that record.

Yep but like I replied to someone else, is United as big a pull as City nowadays?

Also once settled at school it’s harder to pull kids out and move them.

We can hope!

It's not a bigger pull but it's not far off. He will be thinking they are 10 points off the pace and he would back himself to gain 10 points for them

As much as we slate Levy, I just cannot see him sanctioning a sale of our homegrown star, record goalscorer and England captain. Kane is borderline unsellable as far as Spurs are concerned.

My opinion is Kane will stay this summer and then it all comes down to whether he signs a new bumper contract or he chooses to walk for free in a year's time. If he walks for free then yeah United are a prime candidate to snap him up.
Nah I think he might end up being Haalands replacement if he leaves on a free

Can't stand Neville. He did the same during the Poch years, essentially using our games as a pitch to talk about how Poch deserved to be at a club like Man UTD. He should not be allowed to commentate on games that aren't UTD. It's as simple as that.
Came here to say similar. He uses his platform to try and influence things for Man United’s benefit.
He pissed me off with his rant about the super league, spouting off about “fair sporting chance” as if the financially doped premier league is the bastion of fair play.
And he is now, as you say, tapping up Harry Kane on behalf of United.
You can’t begrudge Harry a move, but if he had to go to another PL team, I’d rather he just went City so I can pigeon hole it as a money move.

If I were Kane I'd leave. He's given us the best years of his career and has won fuck all. Though tbf he hasn't delivered in any of the finals either. He needs to move to the team with the winning mentality.

One year left we don’t have much choice. Obviously if United offer a derisory figure like £50m then we just keep until he leaves but if it’s a respectable £80-90m that gives us the opportunity to get someone else in.

Victor O. Would be around £100 million plus add ons, and he’s the only realistic replacement too me.

Or we go full Liverpool losing Suarez and get a false 9 in to form a front 3 with Son and Kulu. Assuming Son finds his form again.

He was pretty poor against wolves

He has been found out or rather, and ill rephrase this before anyone fucking jumps on me, how we use Kane has been found out.

It will come off once or twice a game but really the whole dropping deep thing only works if we have pace in behind but as we have Son dropping deep too... there is no space... was it Lemina marking him yesterday?

I wanna see Kane on the shoulder and not in midfield, I wanna see Kane dropping just in front of their defense and playing little through balls to Son. I want to see Son on the shoulder and not in midfield.

If Kane leaves I cant see us spending the majority of the money on a replacement. I think it is far more likely that Levy will go for Evan Ferguson and spend the rest of the money on other positions.

Not even dramatic. He has the worst free kick record in Europe.
