Most of you guys have less ambition than Levy. We can’t be letting Kane go now if we want to rebuild. It would be stupid and negligent.

I have no clue why anyone would wish him luck at another club as the only club that should matter is us.

Also fuck Real Madrid (and Barca) they have distorted TV deals, bank loans etc for years to get where they are. It will be great for football when they go bust

If Kane goes (and 100% he’d say yes to Real) can see him swapping places with Haaland in a couple years which will guarentee him shearers record (barring injury)

can’t help but feel this was his last season and perhaps it’s going to be considered best all round to start fresh as opposed to try build a team around him only for him to go in 12 months anyway. For sure we’ll be significantly weaker and I don’t want him to leave but he will one day and I just have a feeling that it’s sooner rather than later

Even if he stayed I think it'll be tough to get back in the top 4.

If Madrid come with an offer 80-100m I'd accept, he deserves better than what we can offer right now and seeing him walk for nothing next summer will be hard to swallow.

I think it also takes some pressure off any new manager, as he won't have the same question over Kane's future and hopefully the fee gives him some funds to mould the squad.

The sad thing again after Bale’s fee is we may gain a decent sum of money here with a recruitment department that’s gonna have been thrown together on the fly. There’s gonna have been no planning and the chance’s are we’ll waste the money.

It’s not about ambition, it’s realism and also valuing what he’s done for the club and admitting we’re miles off competing for the big trophies. They are not Fifa players, they are people with ambitions and hopes, and we have to realise he deserves to play in the CL and show he’s one of the world’s best on the biggest stages.

If he stays in England he could easily get 300 and ensure that record will never be beaten for generations

Yeah but records are beaten and someone will beat it eventually, then what? We aren't even close at the moment to winning anything.

Trophies and medals will never be taken away.

Does Kane really leave with his family settled in London and another baby on the way?

I can understand it from a purely sporting perspective but from a personal perspective? I think He stays in the UK.

I agree! I will be very surprised if he moves this summer

Half a mill a week and the rest, have multiple family homes. Chance to win everything for club and individual. If Real come knocking, he’d be mad to say no if he’s holding out for utd

Anything above Bale’s fee (for symbolic purposes) and I’d happily let him go there.

So much more palatable than seeing him turn out for another PL club.

He must be very torn. Within 2 good seasons of breaking Shearer's record. Leave now and he'll risk missing out on that whilst still not necessarily winning anything

He'd be mad to waste any more time with us. No Europe, no ambition, no clue at boardroom level how to turn things around...

Huh? Didn't Paratici spend the last few years building out our recruitment department to a more modernistic/data-heavy approach?

I’d sell if Madrid get anywhere near 100 mil. I’d give Ange (and hopefully DOF, but Ange historically has had transfer power w/o one) a lot of money and power to rebuild. Invest heavily into ST, LW, attacking 8/10 to replace him (or 2 LWs and 8/10 and move Son to ST, something I could easily see with Ange’s system). LCB and GK obvs. I wouldn’t complain if Kane stays of course, but I think at the point it would be ideal to let him go and start the youth movement in tandem with the new coach and play style/philosophy.

It would be very Spurs of him to go to Madrid, win nothing in the 2/3 years he's there, whilst we shithouse our way to a league cup or a conference league

I reckon if they offer £100m and he wants to go we will do the deal. I also think he might stay here another year and go to City for free next summer in order to win all he can and smash Shearer's record.
