There's a lot of stuff being posted about Harry Winks that's bloody well out of order.
I personally don't think he is good enough for what we ought to be aspiring to and it's time for us to make the change but he ain't personally to blame for our current situation.

Winks was his usual self. Likes to try and ping a nice looking ball on the odd occasion he finds himself with plenty of time and space....even then it's 50/50 as to whether it comes off or not.

Apart from that, offers nothing/shirks responsibility and looks like he hopes his effort and running about a bit will somehow result in him coming out of games with credit. Won't try anything positive most of the time because he knows isn't good enough and will give the ball away most of the time. Thanks for trying Winksy but you can leave now.

He’s utter shite. Plays like a scared little boy, the absolute epitome of the kind of player we need to get rid of if we are to rebuild. We cant have people at the club with his mentality about the place.

for me he has never showed anything but potential, he broke through and looked ok but the next minute he just became a regular and then into england setup. To me he hadnt done enough to warrant it but he cant be blamed for that. However i am now not surprised where its ended up.

Agree. For me, at 25 years old, he still looks and plays like someone who has only recently made the step up from the youth team.

When he did break thru he did at least have a bit of fearlessness, but that has been fully sucked from his game and he literally offers nothing defensively or offensively. So disappointing.

What a ridiculous post. He may not be the best player in our squad but he is definitely not “utter shite”.

If you put him in Sheffield Utd, Fulham, Burnley team he wouldn't stand out. He also wouldn't have the fight to play at that level because he hides all game long. He has done nothing to warrant starting this final or the Champions League final. He's not the sole problem but he epitomises so much of what is wrong with this team.

Wasn't totally against him starting. Could see some merit. But not taking him off on the hour is a sackable offence

He has now started our last 2 Cup finals

We never learn do we, we still have the same dross in defence & midfield contributing to our downfalls.

He's sub standard and when you get something sub standard, you normally complain or moan about it.

I feel like I am repeating myself here but what an absolutely abysmal player. We have to be honest with ourselves. He isnt Premier League material.

Let’s get skipp back in the summer and hopefully fleece Norwich into thinking winks can slip straight in.

As I said I think we need to upgrade for what we ought to be aspiring to but some of the stuff is over the top, he's not out to damage the club as you'd think from some posts.

I can't fathom how he started yesterday. My big fear with Jose going was players like Winks getting a look in again and it's happened.

Spurs will never do anything with that plank playing.

I don't understand how Mason who surely has been at Spurs watching him play like shit, suddenly starts him in the final.

Bottom line is. Winks isn't good enough to where we hope to be.

His a bit of a coward really in how he plays
